Won’t allow any movie of Javed Akhtar n his family to be screened till he do not apologize with folded hands to RSS and VHP : Ram Kadam, BJP leader

Prominent writer n lyricist Javed Akhtar have been entrapped un a controversy over his remarks to NDTV equating RSS with Taliban. A stringent warning has been issued to him by a Maharashtra lawmaker and BJP leader Ram Kadam to publicly apologize to RSS n Vishva Hindu Parishad with folded hands for his objectionable statement to NDTV news channel in which he said that the way Taliban wants an Islamic nation there are people who want a Hindu Rashtra. These people are of similar ideology whether they are Muslims, Hindus, Sikh or Jews. While speaking to NDTV Javed Akhtar said that Taliban is obviously barbarous and deserve fullest condemnation but those who supported RSS, Bajrang Dal and VHP are equivalent to Taliban said Akhtar to NDTV. He was giving his views in an NDTV show.

During the discussion he also reiterated that in India majority of the people are tolerant and they should be duly respected as India can’t be a Talibani nation ever adding that he duly respect their sentiments.

This statement created lot of furore and controversy with the BJP leader and lawmaker from Ghatkopar assembly constituency Ram Kadam opposing it tooth and nail posting his vedio in his Twitter handle with a tweet issuing warning on Saturday writing :Till the time # Javed Akhtar do not apologise with folded hands to the # Sangh and # Vishwas Hindu Parishad till then his and his family’s any movie will not be allowed to be screened in the land of #Maabharti tweeted Ram Kadam.

In his vedio angry Ram Kadam said : Had the RSS and the BJP ruling this country been having Talibani thought (Soch) he would not be free to issue such derogatory statements. While taking a very serious view of Javed Akhtar’s statement comparing the RSS and BJP with the Talibans, Ram Kadam catagorically said that until Javed Akhtar publicly apologises with folded hands to the RSS and, BJP his or his family member’s any film will not be allowed to be screened in India.

Meanwhile according to the tweet of the legal advisor of Maharashtra unit of BJP a complaint has been submitted in a concerned police station against Javed Akhtar comparing/ equating RSS with Taliban.

It may be recalled that the Talibans have controlled almost entire Afghanistan except Panjsheer valley where the Northern Alliance fighters are strongly resisting the Pakistan backed Taliban terrorists n its allies. The US troops have left Afghanistan facilitating Taliban terrorists capture 34 out of 35 provinces. The Talibans are considered to be fundamentalist Islamists having declared it as Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. It is a symbol of tyranny, torture and anti women regime believing in Islamic religious conservatism.
