Subodh Uniyal, minister and Kishore Upadhyay MLA on a direct collision course

The war of words between the two politicians of Uttarakhand BJP has openly come in the forefront. These two BJP leaders viz Subodh Uniyal , a powerful minister of health and forests and Kishore Upadhyay, Tehri MLA had earlier been in Congress and had joined BJP but while Subodh has joined BJP in 2016-17 , Kishore Upadhyay had joined in 2022 after he was cubfrinting the challenge to lose his ticket. The main reason for both the Uttarakhand BJP leaders coming into direct confrontation is the construction of the new medical College in Tehri Garhwal in Tehri. Kishore Upadhyay, MLA claims that he had been writing to the state and central government including meeting the CM and the central minister Manohar Kal Khattar and several others number of times including the health minister Subodh Uniyal but now when the scheme for the construction of the Medical College at Tehri township , Garhwal was finalised to be constructed in Tehri , all of a sudden the health minister of Uttarakhand who is the MLA from Narendra Nagar Subodh Uniyal has hijacked this scheme directing the Tehri Garhwal DM to prepare a new project proposal for construction of a medical College in his constituency’s Fifalty area. This has badly annoyed the Tehri MLA Kishore Upadhyay who had been trying hard since a longtime finally proving successful to got thischene sanctioned but lastly being hijacked by the cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal. Enraged Tehri MLA Kishore Upadhyay has unambiguously said that he will not let this happen and will oppose this tooth and nail come what may. Now, it solely depends on the chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami as to which side he favours finally. Sometimes it happens that in the quarrel of two the project goes to the third party. ? It remains to be seen as to which way the wind blows finally and who benefits out of this war.
