There was panic all around in the Hotel Hilton in Washington DC when at an event, the dinner of White house correspondents
the president was attacked by a person while addressing the audience, though the culprit was caught by the law enforcing agencies. The president, Trump , his wife Malena and the Vice president Mr. Vance were whisked away immediately by the secret service.
The CNN ANCHOR reported on SHOOTING in Truth Social : I start hearing gunshots in the hall right near me. And the next thing I knew, a police officer threw me to the ground and was on top of me.
And I was listening and watching what was going on. And apparently they got the gunman who had a major weapon there.
The noise was so loud in a small area. And all of a sudden I’m seeing gunshots.
Very scary incident. All of a sudden, a guy with a weapon, and it was a very, very serious weapon, starts shooting. And I happened to have been a few feet away from him as he was shooting revealed the correspondent at the white House.
According to a post of Donald Trump Social Truth lauding the law enforcing agencies the President said : Quite an evening in D.C. Secret Service and Law Enforcement did a fantastic job. They acted quickly and bravely. The shooter has been apprehended, and I have recommended that we “LET THE SHOW GO ON” but, will entirely be guided by Law Enforcement.
They will make a decision shortly. Regardless of that decision, the evening will be much different than planned, and we’ll just, plain, have to do it again said the President. 
According to the latest news a deadly incident was narrowly averted in Washington, DC, the capital of the United States.
Some information has now emerged about the apprehended attacker. The attacker, identified as Thomas Allen, is a resident of California, and the 31-year-old attacker is said to be a teacher by profession. Efforts are underway to determine the attacker’s true motive. The sttacker was allegedly staying in the same hotel where the event was taking place.
According to the US media reports the attackers was possessing several weapons like Shot gun, hand gun and few knives. The police caught him and he wasn’t shot but admitted in a hospital. He will be produced in the Federal court tomorrow.
As soon as the firing shots were heard the vigilant security personnel immediately rescued the president out of Hotel Hilton.
After the incident the president shared two pictures in Truth Social showing him addressing the audience and in another picture the culprits lying on the ground naked with hands tied with the cuff and policemen standing nearby.
Prime minister Narendra Modi posted a message of concern on X writing : Relieved to learn that President Trump, the First Lady and Vice President are safe and unharmed following the recent security incident at a Washington DC hotel. I extend my best wishes for their continued safety and well-being. Violence has no place in a democracy and must be unequivocally condemned said prime minister Narendra Modi.
The Israel prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his serious concern and shock over the attacks on US president writing on X :
Sara and I were shocked by the attempted assassination of President @realDonaldTrump last night in Washington, DC. We are relieved that the President and the First Lady are safe and strong. We send our wishes for a full and speedy recovery to the wounded police officer and salute the US Secret Service for their swift and decisive action said the Israel PM.
