Youth Congress’s 2 days executive meet ends. Resolution demands Rahul to be made the party president

New Delhi, 09 March 2021: The two-day National Executive meeting of the Indian Youth Congress concluded on Tuesday. The meeting was held at Indian Youth Congress Office 5, Raisina Road, chaired by National president of Indian Youth Congress. Srinivas BV , and national In-charge and AICC Jt. Secretary Sh. Krishna Allavaru , was also present in the meeting today.

In the two-day meeting, there were in depth discussions on many topics, such as the challenges before the organization and how to overcome them. The major programs of the organization Aadhi Aabadi, Pura Hak, the internal elections and membership campaign of Indian Youth Congress and other major issues were discussed in detail.

The serious issues being confronted by the people viz unemployment, rising inflation, three black agricultural laws and how to fight against these issues in the coming times were also discussed seriously.

The inspiration of Youth Congress and the leader of the Congress Party Rahul Gandhi addressed the Youth Congress officials on the first day of the meeting on 8 March and guided everyone. At the National Executive Meeting, the seven-point resolution was also unanimously adopted.

National General Secretary and organisational In-charge of the Congress Party and Rajya Sabha MP KC Venugopal also attended the National Executive meeting and while expressing his views he said that today there is a fight to save democracy in the country from the government of ‘Hum Do, Humare Do’. He further added that the Indian Youth Congress will have to continuously fight against the policies of this anti-people government and will have to carry this struggle forward to the people. The Indian Youth Congress will have to focus on strengthening the organization at the grassroots and bring the poor, backward, and grassroots workers to the mainstream. He congratulated all the officials present in the meeting and motivated them for the struggle in the coming days.

The National President of the Indian Youth Congress Sh. Srinivas BV said that the leader of the Congress Party, Sh. Rahul Gandhi, should again become the National President of the Congress Party, for this, the National Executive of the Youth Congress has passed a resolution. He also said that following the path shown by Sh. Rahul Gandhi , every worker of the Youth Congress will fight against this dictator government in the coming days and will work to spread the ideology of the Congress Party and the message of Rahul Gandhi to the masses.

He added that the youth Congress will agitate against rising inflation, unemployment, three black agricultural laws and on other burning issues. The Youth Congress will struggle in the national interest on the roads and will take this struggle to the people he said. He also said that just as the Youth Congress gave women reservation to 33% women in the national body, on the same line 33% women reservation in the state and lower level organizations will be ensured. He added : the good speaking speakers from all over the country will be identified and training will be given to them on the ideology of the Congress party, this work will be done in the coming days, and more and more young Congress workers will get a chance to contest elections at local and panchayat levels, this work will also be done in the coming days.

Sh. Krishna Allavaru , IYC National In-charge and AICC Jt-Secretary was also present on the occasion, Sh. Pawan Kheda, National Spokesperson of the Congress party addressed the issue on youth unemployment, and Sh. Apoorva Anand dwelt on the issue of nationalism and polarization addressed everyone. All the national office bearers of the Youth Congress and all the state presidents were present in the said meeting.
