Youth Congress distributes Ration Kits to the needy,donated blood and provided financial assistance to orphaned children due to Covid-19

New Delhi, 21 May 2020:

On the 30th death anniversary of former Prime Minister of India, Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi, the Indian Youth Congress under the leadership of its national president Srinivas BV, distributed Ration Kits to the needy people, organised blood donation camps, and provided financial assistance to the children orphaned due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Paying tributes to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Srinivas B.V. said that he was the architect of modern India, who worked towards making India strong and self-reliant.

He revealed that the Indian Youth Congress has organised Ration Kits distribution and blood donation camps to the needy people across the country including providing financial assistance to the childrens orphaned due to Covid-19 pandemic in order to pay their homage to the great leader of the masses.

The national IYC President Srinivas BV also said that poor and helpless people are very much disturbed due to lockdown across India as the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic has affected all sections of society ruthlessly as such on the instructions of Rahul Gandhi and keeping in mind the ideals of Rajiv Gandhi and his service to mankind, the Youth Congress is organising such programs across the country.

He added that since the last lockdown till now, Youth Congress workers have been working day and night to provide food, oxygen cylinders, ICU beds, and other necessary things to the people in Delhi and elsewhere at the grass roots.

Giving credit for the current Covid vaccinations to their leader Rajiv Gandhi terming him as the leader with foresight IYC president said that the country is still taking advantage of the foresight of former Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi. The design of the vaccination process in the country is based on previous vaccination processes said IYC leader. Lauding former prime minister for his outstanding achievements inorder to take India touch new heights of development Shriniwas said that it is Sh. Rajiv Gandhi foresight that India was placed in the category of strong, modern nations. Under the leadership of Rajiv Gandhi , India touched new dimensions of development. We pay our respects to him on his death anniversary he said.

National Congress General Secretary Bhaiya Pawar, National Secretary Mukesh Kumar, Shivi Chauhan, Mohit Chaudhary and several other Youth Congress workers were present on the occasion.
