UTTARAKHAND CONGRESS CHIEF KARAN MAHARA IN DHARALI, SAYS THE LOSS IS TREMENDOUS, GOVT IS LYING

The Uttarakhand Congress chief Karan Mahara is in Dharali going on foot with his supporters meeting the Dharali victims and interacting with the families as well as the survivors. Highly critical of the government being the leader of the opposite party Uttarakhand Congress president says that after interacting with the local people and the sufferers the figures being given by the government is too less than the actual figures, the situation being too dangerous and horrific. He said that not only the houses have been destroyed here but the entire lives of the people’s shattered as those who earlier had two ends meal to survive are without even a piece of bedsheet. The children who used to go to the school are today without even a shelter. The trees have been uprooted, roads and pathways swept away in the ravishing floods and all the hotels, resorts and other building buried under the millions of tonnes of debris. Criticizing the ruling party government Karan Mahara accused of fof keeping its eyes closed towards these badly suffering people who have lost their everything and have become paupers. He wrote on social media after visiting the catastrophic disaster affected areas of Dharali and Harshil :
The Chief Minister has gone for an aerial inspection in a helicopter,
but there has been no survey of the tears of those whose houses were washed away, whose children were lost.
