Will the UKSSSC n Vidhan Sabha jobs scam lead to waterloo of the present CM n ruling party in Uttarakhand ?

The way Uttarakhand’s ongoing UKSSSC recruitment, cheating and leaked paper scam including arbitrary appointments in Uttarakhand Assembly allegedly at the behest of the former Congress n BJP speakers right from the era of former speaker Yashpal Arya to Govind Singh Kunjwal to Prem Aggrawal and the subsequent massive protests and demonstrations of youths and students in Rudraprayag, Dehradun and several parts of Uttarakhand including repeated print and electronics n social media attacks like blitzkrieg on the BJP government of UK n its CM Dhami – it has become absolutely confirmed that the ongoing “scam ghotaala” will lead to waterloo for the state CM and the saffron in the near future reveal political analysts. Though there had been several scams in Uttarakhand since the new himalayan state was carved out from undivided Uttar Pradesh on 9 th November 2000 but the ongoing UKSSSC scam that has resulted in the arrests of more than thirty scamsters and the Uttarakhand Assembly speaker commencing the probe via a three member high level committee including suspension of the secretary of the Commission n resignation of its chairman Mr. Raju has badly annoyed, angered and disenchanted the youths of the state for the very first time instigating them to protest massively n cumulatively to raise their voice of dissent against huge corruption let loose in the himalayan state.

In the past there had been several scams pertaining to highways, massive arbitrary land allotments to ultra rich, illegal mining n health scams, even scams of kidney transplants against huge monetary transactions, Dhencha Seeds scandal ( now cleared), Sturdia scam of alleged arbitrary land sanction and discrepancies in jobs appointments in AIIMS Rishikesh n liquor scams etc allegedly taking place during the previous regimes of both Congress n BJP ruling political dispensations with various probes taking place but all in vain. During the previous tenure of the present chief minister quite a few vociferous protests were witnessed when his OSD had allegedly written letters to police authorities to release the dumpers and mining equipments allegedly captured by the police in Kumaon region from illegal miners. Several incidents of dreaded murders in illegal mining related imbroglio were also witnessed in the past in which mining mafias were involved. However, the present recruitment, leaked paper and cheating scam of UKSSSC n Assembly secretariat in which initially it’s master mind, a district Punchayat member Hakam Singh was arrested belonged to BJP who was later on expelled from the party has raised several eyebrows. Hakam’s rags to riches story is known to everyone in Uttarakhand. He was allegedly a cook with a DM of Uttarkashi before 2019 who shifted to Haridwar when the DM was transferred here say news reports.

The UKSSSC headquater is in Haridwar. There are reports that in 2019 Hakam was penalised but due to his high political connections he was allegedly set free which raised his morale further becoming the kingpin of the cheating, leaked papers n recruitment scam finally arrested now. His arrest by active n vigilant Uttarakhand STF on the strict orders of the present CM led to thirty more arrests with STF investigations still going on in full swing. According to the various news reports apart from the UKSSSC imbroglio the silent clandestine appointment scandal in Vidhan Sabha started during the tenure of the then speaker Yashpal Arya from 2002 to 2007 followed by over 158 appointments during the tenure of Govind Singh Kunjwal from 2012 to 2017 with his son n daughter in law also appointed in UK assembly secretariat as class 2 gazetted officers followed by alleged 74 appointments including of his son or relative during the tenure of Prem Aggrawal, now finance minister of Uttarakhand with all speakers saying that they are fully entitled to do so. Former speakers have further revealed that that lot of appointments were also made at the behest of the former speaker Mr. Pant during his tenure as well. There are also reports of the former education minister Mantri Prasad Naithani appointing several of his family members n relatives in education ministry then under his charge while he was minister in ND Tiwari government in 2002 onwards and then from 2012 to 2017. In much hyped UKSSSC scam lakhs n lakhs of rupees changed hands for question paper leaks and subsequent cheating management clandestinely at various self made cheating centres at Haridwar, Nagina in Uttar Pradesh and other locations in and out of the state. There have been massive corruption in giving contract to a particular firm of Lucknow to print question papers even after termination of its time schedule or tender from where these papers were allegedly leaked in collaboration with the cheating n leaked paper mafias active in Lucknow, Goa, Kumaon and Garhwal region including Haridwar. In view of the massive resentment already cropping up by thousands of unemployed youths of Uttarakhand after the exposure of this massive scam, the already frustrated youths and students including political parties like Congress, Uttarakhand Kranti Dal are protesting manifold demanding an impartial CBI inquiry into this scam. The movement of the youth particularly seems to have gained tremendous momentum with the ruling saffron party in a fix. Kindly recall that even after the formation of separate Uttarakhand state since last 22 years there have been tremendous exodus of people from interior villages to towns, cities, metropolises and the state capital Dehradun in search of job avenues, health facilities n quality education to the children. But seeing such a large scam, the inhabitants of the state have bitten their nails in shock thinking what will be the fate of their children in future if education n recruitment mafia in league with politicians snatch their share in jobs. Political analysts predict that this massive scam may prove to be a waterloo for the saffron party n its political n administrative CEO of Uttarakhand in the near future. What’s your take friends.
