Vertical division in Uttarakhand Congress ? Will reveal the reasons behind his tweet bombshell when the appropriate time comes says Harish Rawat
THERE is no doubt that while Harish Rawat has established himself as the most controversial and powerful Congress leader of Uttarakhand as on date trying to keep his detractors mum with media going after him to reveal the reasons for his tweet bombshell blaming Congress leaders for tieing his hands and not cooperating him in his mission 21 to make Congress victorious in Uttarakhand, the controversy has gained momentum with his supporters not relenting blaming his detractors for deliberately sabotaging him.
While his yesterday’s tweet has created lot of controversy, there seem to be clear cut two factions emerging in the party, one represented by Rawat himself and another by Devendra Yadav, central party observer, CWC invited n secretary of AICC, Pritam Singh, leader of the opposition in the assembly n former chief Kishore Upadhyay etc.
The situation, instead of subsiding has reached to such a pass that Harish Rawat’s supporters n die hard followers like Surendra Aggrawal, media incharge of Congress has openly started speaking in front of media about their leader’s insult and hatching of pre strategic conspiracy by his rivals within Congress accusing them of playing in the hands of BJP n weakening the organisation.
He said that Harish Rawat is the tallest leader of Uttarakhand and has always been with the Congress in thick and thin leading the party to towering heights and victory.
According to rumours floating in, the main reason behind Congress veteran leader’s annoyance compelling him to issue such tweet is that some central party leaders indicating towards Devendra Yadav, observer and incharge, Uttarakhand Congress ( not naming him) n other leaders trying to bring back the senior leaders like Satpal Maharaj, Vijay Bahuguna and Dr. Harak Singh Rawat in Congress.
Though there are no authentic information about this but rumours are afloat that they may join the party and Harish Rawat n his camp is outrightly opposing their entry in Congress.
The news videos like “Pahad ka, Pathar”, etc have revealed that this speculation about these BJP leaders joining Congress at the behest of some Congress leaders have disturbed the former CM Harish Rawat who had already said that they are the ones who had betrayed Congress in 2016, 2017, n joined BJP resulting in the party’s defeat.
He even went to the extent of calling these defectors as the murderers of democracy whose only aim to join BJP was to become CM but now since they are jobless there, they are hobnobbing to join the Congress party.
His indication was towards two senior leaders of BJP, earlier in Congress viz Satpal Maharaj and Vijay Bahuguna say sources.
Rawat’s son Anand, Rawat’s, tweet below has also confirmed that some leaders in Congress desperately want to bring in the defectors of Congress against his father’s wishes who had knocked out Captain Amrinder Singh in Punjab and resurrected the Congress party there.
Speaking to curious media to reveal the reasons behind his recent tweet, blaming Congress leaders fir tieing his hands, not cooperating and working against him he smilingly passed on saying that he will speak when an appropriate time comes, giving a clear cut impression that what he tweeted was absolutely correct.
The Congress party’s ongoing crisis after Harish Rawat’s bombshell in the form of his tweets has opened a new chapter giving BJP a golden chance of blessings in disguise say political analysts.
Kindly recall that when Narain Dutt Tiwari was made the chief minister of Uttarakhand killing the chances and aspirations of the then Congress president Harish Rawat whose untiring efforts had lead to the Congress’s victory in Uttarakhand in 2002, Rawat’s followers and electorates of Uttarakhand had protested at Dehradun against the central High command even buring the effigies of central leaders. Rawat’s tweets of Wednesday remind of the same situation re – arising after 18 years when he is, being considered as the main force and undisputed leader of Congress in Uttarakhand.
Meanwhile son of Harish Rawat, Anand Rawat has, tweeted in Hindi praising his father for knocking out captain Amrinder Singh in Punjab and giving a new lease of life to Congress party saying that in Uttarakhand some paper tiger (leaders) want to bring back the defectors of BJP into Congress, who deceived them, in order to strengthen themselves politically as below, confirming the fact that some leaders do want to bring defectors of Congress to BJP, to the party again, deliberately demoralising Harish Rawat.
