WIFE OF THE VICTIM THRASHED BY MINISTER IN RISHIKESH SAYS SHE’LL GO TO MEET PM IF JUSTICE IS NOT ACCORDED TO HER EARLY !
The controversy pertaining to the Uttarakhand Finance minister’s scuffle and his subsequent thrashing in public along with his PRO and gunners of a resident of Shivaji Nagar, Rishikesh Surendra Singh Negi is not subsiding despite the registration of the FIR against the minister and his security men including a PRO as the victim and his family have termed this action as merely coverup with punitive action being initiated against the minister and his henchmen who were openly involved in the physical attack on Mr. Negi.
According to the latest videos taking round in social media and TV channels – the angered wife of the victim Surendra Singh Negi has warned publicly that if no action is taken against the minister, his security guards and PRO who were involved in physically attacking her husband and allegedly abusing him, she will have no option but to go to Delhi with other women to express her plight to the prime minister Narendra Modi.
Expressing her anger in front of the media the victim Surendra Singh NEGI’s wife in tears said that she is from Chamoli from where belonged Chipko leader Gaura Devi and her companions who hugged the trees to not let them cut by the contractors in 1974.
Similarly if the Uttarakhand government doesn’t take any stringent action against the guilty she added that she can go to any extent as her husband had been assaulted publicly and for a dignified woman from Chamoli this injustice is intolerable at all costs.
The anguished aged mother of Negi in tears too was extremely furious expressing her tremendous protest narrating her awful tale as to how her son with no fault of his was thrashed publicly by a minister and his cronies by making him run on the road, desperately.
She demanded immediate sacking of the minister with stringent legal action putting him and his security personnel behind bars.
The victim Surendra Singh Negi while narrating his awful tale said that he is not able to come in terms with what happened on that fateful day when he was repeatedly hit mercilessly by the minister, his PRO and the security men.
He said while there was jam on the road the minister came out of his car and started hitting him with his foot saying that I was criticizing him. When I said that I didn’t say anything, the minister and his PRO and security guards started hitting him repeatedly and the entire Uttarakhand has seen the video said Negi.
He added : I was shocked to see the video later on watching the minister, his gunners and, PRO repeatedly hitting him publicly with no fault of mine.
Asking about the FIR lodged against the minister and his PRO including security personal – Negi said that this is all coverup to misguide people as no action whatsoever has been taken against the minister till now.
It may be recalled that the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had assured the people that the guilty would be punished duly and that legal action under relevant IPC sections will be initiated transparently. The chief minister had directed the DGP Ashok Kumar to initiate necessary legal action after impartial and transparent probe in this matter.
