While BJP highly encouraged by prime minister’s successful rally at Dehradun, Congress and Aam Admi Party terms it a flop

While the BJP leaders and CM Uttarakhand are extremely enthusiastic after the successful meeting of prime minister Narendra Modi at Dehradun, the opposition has termed it a flop show.

The main opposition party of Uttarakhand, Congress and a new entrant Aam Admi Party has declared the rally of prime minister Narendra Modi as totally flop saying that despite the preparations of several days with entire government machinery concentrated on the arrangements the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has failed to draw massive crowds as claimed by them with only ten percent people managed and that too by way of hiring them in buses.

The chief minister candidate of Aam Admi Party retired colonel Ajay Kothiyal who is extensively touring Uttarakhand and holding rallies in different parts of the state having been successful in organising and addressing 824 public meetings with AAP organisers and volunteers in 70 Assembly constituencies during the last ten days have been successful to register 54 thousand persons interested to go on pilgrimages to Ayodhya, Kartar Sahib and Ajmer Sharif Durgah.

The AAM Admi Party has also distributed free tickets to those interested on these pilgrimages during their ongoing campaign in different constituencies of Uttarakhand.

Assailing the BJP rally of prime minister Narendra Modi at Parade ground Dehradun about a hundred protesting Congress workers raising PM Modi Go Back slogans wearing black straps were arrested by Uttarakhand police at Dehradun yesterday while the two Congress vice presidents Surya Kant Dhasmana and Dhirendra Pratap also termed the PM’s rally as unsuccessful.

In a statement both the leaders said that the rally was a huge flop as despite the entire government machinery on the job with tremendous money power at work the BJP could not draw more than ten thousand crowd. Congress leader n former CM Harish Rawat too said that the rally was a poor show with just ten thousand people.

It may be recalled that the BJP chief Madan Kaushik had said that more than a lakh people will attend the rally as arrangements are in full swing.

The Congress leaders said that by praising the double engine government of Uttarakhand the prime minister had tried to scrape the injuries of the electorates of Uttarakhand who are already feeling being betrayed and cheated by the present state government that has changed three chief Ministers in three months taking the state into Rs 65000 crores fiscal deficit.

The AAM ADMI PARTY leader and CM candidate retired colonel Kothiyal had also termed the rally as fully flop saying that the public had started leaving the venue while the prime minister was making tall announcements making unambiguously sure that the electorates of the state have been disenchanted against the saffron party government and want a change.

Colonel Kothiyal said that the PM’s speech was the same what he had uttered in 2017 rally and not a single promise made to the people have been fulfilled with the state’s unemployment graph having spiked six times n state becoming the factory of changing chief ministers.

In a tweet the AAP leader Kothiyal castigating the BJP said that it has been trying hard since last week, with schools closed and large number of people brought in hired buses from UP, but despite all this the rally flopped as the people had started getting up while the PM was speaking, making crystal clear that they have made up their minds to dethrone the present ruling political dispensation.

He also said that the BJP has claimed that lakhs of people would attend the meeting tweeted Colonel Kothiyal adding that the people are disenchanted with the false promises and rhetorics of BJP in his tweet.

The AAP leader also attended a successful road show in Kirti Nagar, near Srinagar Garhwal, Devprayag and addressed public meetings castigating the BJP saying that the PM had said that the youths and water of Uttarakhand will now be used for its development.

He made anouncement that about one lakh crore rupees worth of investments have been made in Uttarakhand to change the face and fate of Uttarakhand but nothing has been done said AAP leader Kothiyal .

The Aam Admi Party demands a white paper on this so that people come to know transparently about the massive budget spent of the so called development of the state added the prospective CM candidate of Aam Admi Party.

It may be recalled that prime minister had inaugurated n laid down various projects of Uttarakhand’s development worth Rs. 18000 crores in his speech at the Dehradun rally speaking few sentences in local Garhwali dialect.

The enthused BJP CM, Dhami, BJP state chief Madan Kaushik and its leaders had declared the rally as a massive success claiming that it will led to party’s landslide victory in the ensuing state elections.
