WHILE AMBANIS DONATE RS 5 CRORES AT BADRINATH DHAM, SOME SAY – COULD HAVE BUILT A WELL EQUIPPED HOSPITAL FOR PEOPLE’S WELL BEING

The multi millionaire of India Mukesh Ambani along with his daughter in law and other family members visited Badrinath Dham and paid his obeisance to Lord Badrinath and sought His, special blessings. According to the various news reports he donated Rs. 5 Crores at the feet of Lord Badrinath. Ambani family is a regular visitor to Badrinath Dham probably twice a year on their personal chopper. Anil Ambani, mother Kokilaben, wives of both brothers Mukesh and Anil also visit this most auspicious Dham to seek blessings and donate handsomely every year. I remember that they had donated Rs 2 crores last time. The adoration and love of Ambani family for Lord Badrinath Dham is quite old and Dhirubhai also used to visited here. The Ambani family during their visit at the temple are accorded special VIP treatment and special darshan and prayer is performed for this privileged family. Even the prime minister Narendra Modi had personally visited them in Mumbai and inaugurated one of their projects in the economic capital giving lot of time despite his extremely busy schedule . The former chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has exhibited special affection for the Ambani family when he had nominated the eldest son of Mukesh Ambani as the Member of Kedarnath Badrinath Temple Committee, an important official status, though I don’t think it was essential for him. Every year, especially in the year 2022 about fifteen lakh pilgrims have visited Badrinath Dham and 1.4 lakh to Kedarnath Dham with six lakhs visiting Gangotri and 5 lakhs to Yamunotri. People say that it would have been better if the Ambanis had built a high tech full fledged hospital at Badrinath Dham for the poor, hapless and down trodden of the society to tender them free medical treatment as Uttarakhand hills are already devoid of well equipped government hospitals, dispensaries and Heath centres with the local populace thronging Dehradun, townships n cities including metropolises for better treatment from critical illnesses making villages vacant. Today Uttarakhand has over three thousand villages without population with majority of them called Ghost villages.

The Temple committees already have ample budget allocated by the state government and tremendous people’s ” CHADHAVA”, come during the pilgrims obeisance to Lord Kedarnath, Badrinath who number in lakhs. Such hospitals if built by AMBANIS at the temple sites instead of donating it will also provide treatment to the pilgrims etc. who in view of lack of health facilities also suffer badly during the tiring pilgrimage schedule. The real service of the poor and needy would in true sense be the service to Lord Badrinath say the locals. And building fully equipped hospitals, for free treatment to pilgrims n the villagers n their wards of the surrounding areas is a befitting service to the people of the lower echelons of the society n therefore to Lord Badrinath.
