West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee at the national capital to participate in ” One Nation One Election”, committee meeting

The West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has reached Delhi today after participating in the inaugural session of the state budget session. The West Bengal state Budget will be released on 8 th February.

She will be participating on 6 February in the meeting of the One Nation One election in New Delhi. The All India, Trinamool Congress leader and the West Bengal CM always outspoken on every issue had while strongly opposing the ” ON NATION ONE ELECTION CONCEPT”, very unambiguously stated that this concept/ formulated of the present government if implemented would be out rightly against the the basic foundation of the Indian Constitution.

Addressing the sit in organised by the Trinamool Congress for the central financial assistance the West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee that she’ ll attend the one nation one election meeting in New Delhi slated to be held on 6 th February. Mamata Banerjee stated that a SPECIAL COMMITTEE have been formed on this issue in which my comments have been elicited by the central government.

It may be recalled that the West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee whose party TMC is an important constituent of Indian National Developmental Inclusive Demand is visiting Delhi when she has soured relations with INDI alliance leaders, after her statement that she will contest on all seats individually rather than having alliance with Congress and CPM etc.

She had also annoyed Congress when she said that she doubts whether Congress will win even 40 seats individually in the general elections. However, the Congress leaders said that Mamata Banerjee is an important leader of the INDI alliance and that all is well in the opposition unity. It may be recalled that the government has formed a “One Nation One Election”, committee under the leadership of former president of India Ram Nath Kovind. This high level committee has been formed by the BJP led NDA government in order to find the possibility of one election on a single date of Local to national elections according to the existing constitutional provisions.
