War of words between Olympian wrestlers Sakshee Malikkh and, Babita Phogat, Arjuna Awardee in BJP
War of words have commenced between the protesting wrestler and Rio Olympics winner of 2016 Sakshee Malikkh and Arjuna Awarded Olympian Wrestler , including three times CWG Medallist now in BJP – Babita Phogat with the former and her husband Satuavrat Rana saying that the Dharna of wrestlers was not being backed by the Congress party as charged by Phogat as the permission for the Jantar Mantar silent protest was sought by BJP leader Teerth Rana and Babita Phogat jointly making absolutely clear that the Congress party has nothing to do with it and that they are neutral as it was these BJP wrestlers who sought permission for them.
Meanwhile in a video released a day before by Rio Olympian Sakshee Mallikk and her wrestler husband Satyavrat Rana posted on her Twitter handle Mrs Mallikk tweeted in Hindi that in our video we have passed a remark on Teerth Rana and Babita as to how they were trying to use the wrestlers for their vested interests and how the wrestlers when faced with grievances sat in the lap of the government. We are definitely in problems but our humour entertainment shouldn’t be so weak that you don’t laugh at the pinch by the powerful tweeted Rio Olympic bronze winner Sakshee Mallikkh. The video posted by Sakshee Mallikkh has been watched by 8 lakh 85.3 thousand views.
After watching the video Babita Phogat, the Olympian Wrestler and Arjuna Award winner expressed her harsh views against Sakshee Mallikkh and her husband through her long post posted on her Twitter handle.
Babita Phogat who is in BJP and on whose initiative as a mediator the government had formed a committee to give justice to the protesting wrestlers but nothing happened till now – out rightly denied having to do anything with the permission letter sent to the police seeking permission for wrestlers to protest asking where is the proof, show me as the permission letter written to Police signed by Teerth Rana doesn’t carry any signature of her (Babita Phogat).
In her detail post Babita Phogat wrote in Hindi :
There is a saying that for entire life one gets the blot on his/ her fore head. Friend, don’t say such a thing that that you have to curb it after publicly revealing. Yesterday when I was watching the video of my sister ( Sakshee Mallikkh) and her husband – while I was badly anguished I was happy too. First of all let me clarify that the paper being shown on the video ( information letter to the police) there is no proof of my consent, like signature as I have nothing to do with it . I had been telling from day one ( to these wrestlers) that have faith on hon’ble prime minister Narendra Modiji and on country’s justice system, you will definitely get justice as truth will finally prevail. Being a women wrestler I am, will be and was, always with the wrestlers. But I wasn’t in favour of demonstrations and sit ins etc. I had always been saying to meet prime minister and home minister from where they’ll get due justice but you and your other wrestlers were finding the justice under the clout of Priyanka Gandhi, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Congress and other people ( leaders of opposition) who themselves have complaints n cases of alleged tapes lodged against them. But countrymen have learnt about their ill conceived designs . Now they should reply to all the people, farmers and women wrestlers whose sentiments were encashed by these leaders for political gains. Now all the wrestlers of Jantar Mantar protest are expecting political vested interests who sought the support and blessings of Congress party and opposition leaders. How shameful was these wrestlers acts of protesting on the day of new parliament’s inauguration and attitude to drown their medals in Ganges. Sister ( Sakshee) you must be eating the bread made of Almonds but we and countrymen are also eating the chapaties made of wheat flour. The countrymen have understood now that you wrestlers are playing in the hands of Congress as puppets. Now, the time has come, you should tell your real intentions as the countrymen are asking you these questions wrote Babita Phogat.
