Another tragic news is coming from from Dhumakot , Nainidanda block in Pauri Garhwal district that on Saturday evening a village woman resident of Gram Sabha Jamun Bakhroti was brutally killed by a man-eater with her mutilated dead body found in the nearby jungle. There is terror all around and the villagers of the surrounding areas are extremely terrified. For the last several months there had been news about man-eaters roaming around in the Nainidanda block for human flesh and few incidents of human attacks had already taken place.The brutal killing of a village woman in the Jamun, Baharoti Gram Sabha, Dhumakot, Nainidanda block has shaken the confidence of the surrounding villagers especially the women and school going children as they are are immensely vulnerable. Man-eater killings in Uttarakhand has become almost a daily phenomena and people living in majority of the Uttarakhand districts are surviving on their own risk with the forest or wild life department literally doing nothing for their safety and security.
