Veteran photojournalist Sunil Saxena is no more. PCI expresses its condolences

A veteran photographer who has worked with Hindustan Times, Financial Express, Rashtriya Sahara and Navodaya Times after retirement Sunil Saxena breathed his last the other day sending shock waves in the photojournalists fraternity. Sunil Saxena had the photojournalist’s career of more than four decades and had worked in senior positions in Hindustan Times , Financial Express and Rashtriya Sahara for decades. A jolly person with affable nature renowned photojournalist Sunil Saxena is being remembered by the photojournalists fraternity and being missed badly. The Press Club of India has expressed its profound grief and sorrow at the passing away of senior photographer, Sunil Saxena. He had worked with the Hindustan Times and the Financial Express. May God give enough strength to the family and friends to bear the loss wrote PCI on its X handle paying tributes to the senior photojournalist. Sunil Saxena is known for covering extremely challenging assignments at the Pan India level. This writer came into close proximity with Sunil Saxena during 1992 when he covered the New Delhi parliamentary elections from where Rajesh Khanna aka Kaka had contested on Congress ticket first against BJP stalwart Lal Krishna Advani and then against his contemporary actor and saffron party candidate Shatrughan Sinha finally winning it by 28000 votes.
