Vehicle fell into 150 meter deep gorge near Kulhar Band, Satpuli, Pauri Garhwal

Yet another news about another accident has come from Kulhar Band Satpuri in Pauri Garhwal district where the injured travellers were leaving from Village Kasani, Block Birokhal in Bolero vehicle number UK 15TA 0713 and heading towards to holy town Haridwar for Ganga bath.

Most of the women were travelling in the vehicle. At around 06:00 in the morning, information about the accident was received at Police Station Satpuli that the said vehicle had fallen into a gorge about 150 meters deep under Kulhar Band, Police Station Lansdowne area under the jurisdiction of Pauri Garhwal district.

There was puja in his house at night. Possibly the driver may have fallen asleep due to lack of sleep at night. The driver is also said to be from the family of the injured.

The injured were rescued on the spot by police station Satpuli, Lansdowne and SDRF team though sineof them are severely injured.

All the injured are undergoing treatment at Hans Hospital Satpuli, owned by Hans Foundation of Bholeji Maharaj.

  2. Smt. Bhagwanti Devi W/O Jaspal Singh Rawat, aged 43 years, n/o above (severely injured – Head injury)
  3. Ku Rashmi D/O Jaspal Singh Rawat, Age 24 Years, N/o Above
  4. Sarojini Devi W/O Digambar Rawat, aged 43 years, n/o above.
  5. Smt. Anita Devi W/O Jagbir Singh, Age 40 Years, N/O Above
  6. Surajpal Singh Rawat S/O Bakhtawar Singh, aged 46 years, n/o above.
  7. Smt. Radha Devi W/O Govardhan Singh, aged 75 years, n/o above.
  8. Sanjay S/O Chandrapal, Age 20 Years, N/O Above
  9. Suraj Gusai S/O Rajendra Singh Gusai, aged 28 years, n/o above (Driver)
  10. Smt. Kalavati Devi W/O Nandan Singh, aged 65 years.

The tragic accident occured between Gumkhal and Satpuli. The SDRF n police personnel really had a hard day rescuing the nine injured .
