Uttarakhandi singer Pawan Semwal’s banned song reminds about Narendra Singh NEGI’s NAUCHAMI NARENA song against the then CM N.D.Tiwari during the Congress rule

The registration of the FIR against the renowned singer of Uttarakhand, vociferous Pawan Semwal on his new song that has gone viral in social media and his subsequent arrest, though now released and his song withdrawn from the YouTube after government pressure as revealed by the singer himself in a debate has reminded us of the most controversial song sung by the Uttarakhand Swar Samrat Narendra Singh Negi against the then chief minister of Uttarakhand Narayan Dutt Tiwari which was also banned and Negi forbidden to attend any official function.

It may be recalled that as Pawan Semwal singer has sung this controversial song criticizing the current saffron party government over prevailing corruption, liquor being sold at the decentralised level and several other inefficiencies adversely affecting the Uttarakhand electorates, similarly a song titled NAUCHAMI NARENA sung by the legendary Uttarakhandi singer Narendra Singh Negi against the then CM Narayan Dutt Tiwari for seamlessly distributing the red beacon state ministerial ranks to good number of politicians making mockery of the system has created quite a stir and sensitisation in the political corridors of Congress party with the then BJP politicians extremely happy staging a landslide victory during the assembly elections.

The Nauchami Narena was so popular having sold lakhs of CDs at the pan India level that time and the song going tremendously viral being sung in every function, marriage or birthday parties etc that the prestigious India Today English and Hindi magazine had published a two page story on it.

The way Congress lost due to Narendra Singh NEGI’s NAUCHAMI NARENA song with lakhs of CDs sold nationally during the ND Tiwari led Congress rule in Uttarakhand, similarly the present government led by the Pushkar Singh Dhami which is repeating for the second term is badly disturbed due to this anti government song going viral in social media.

The victimised singer Pawan Semwal has categorically said that he has been arrested and the BJP government in Uttarakhand is afraid of his singing because of their various wrongdoings and prevailing corruption.
He questioned in one of the debates over television that if the government is honest, transparent and has done good of the people with no corruption or wrongdoings then why is he being arrested, FIR lodged against him and his song withdrawn from the social media ?

He said that he will definitely ensure that the banned song would be re – released in the you tube and there will be no change in its lyrics irrespective of any pressure on him.
He emphatically said that he is not afraid of any consequences as he has done nothing arbitrary and has not mentioned anything against the government but has just questioned them which is everyone’s constitutional right said controversial and vociferous singer Pawan Semwal.

Not only this but Pawan Semwal’s earlier video ridiculing and speaking against the Forest minister of Uttarakhand Subodh Uniyal for declaring Uniyals as a community migrated from Bihar earlier being Ojhas.

Pawan ridiculously asked in Garhwali dialect in the video that if he thinks Uniyal’s are from Bihar then how come he is living in Uttarakhand .

He should go to Bihar and do politics there said Pawan Semwal in his video that had gone viral earlier.

A delegation of Delhi UKD including Pawan Semwal has met the DCP East District , Delhi and submitted a memorandum/ written complaint seeking the singers protection as a Samajwadi Party woman activist had yesterday threatened him of dire consequences including murder in front of the camera while talking to the media and condemning him for criticizing the Uttarakhand government. He said that the DCP has assured of his full safety and security and also assured of initiating legal action against the woman. He also appealed to all the artists of Uttarakhand to help him as today it is his turn tomorrow it can be their.
