Uttarakhand Kranti Dal sits on indefinite Dharna at Indramani Badooni’s statue venue demanding CBI enquiry into paper leaked scam of UKSSSC

Though the special task force of Uttarakhand police has so far arrested 29 culprits in connection with the UKSSSC paper leak and cheating scam, there is constant pressure by Congress and the regional party of Uttarakhand, UKD on the government to recommend this trivial scam to the premier investigating agency CBI. As a, sequel to CBI enquiry demand by individual and political parties the Uttarakhand Kranti Dal has today commenced a demonstration cum indefinite Dharna under the statue of Uttarakhand Gandhi and founder of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal at Dehradun. Before commencing the indefinite Dharna demanding impartial CBI inquiry into the leaked UKSSSC paper n cheating scam the leaders and activists of the regional party garlanded the statue of late Indramani Badooni and raised slogans in support of their demand including condemning the present ruling party government for this scam. Several leaders led by UKD leader Surendra Kukreti who included several women as well participated in this demonstration cum dharna. Kindly recall that the main mastermind behind this scam Hakam Singh, the jila Punchayat member hailing from BJP has been expelled from the party and is behind bars.

In all 29 culprits have been arrested so far n several officers suspended. The chairman of UKSSSC has also submitted his resignation letter saying that he had already brought this shabby affair to the knowledge of higher authorities but no one paid any attention to his complaints. The matter has been highlighted extensively in social media, as well apart from tremendous coverage in print and electronics media. There were reports of the examination paper allegedly bought for Rs 2 crores with reports of Hakam Singh having opened his cheating centre in Nagina, in Bijnaur district UP with reports of a leaked paper allegedly solved in Haridwar etc. Thereafter a new scam erupted in Vidhan Sabha appointments about several ministers PRO n their wives appointed in Vidhan Sabha with former speakers during Congress n BJP tenures having appointed their sons n daughter in law in Vidhan Sabha during their tenures. A letter written by cabinet minister Rekha Arya recommending names of four persons for jobs in Uttarakhand government is also doing rounds in social media with the minister saying that as a public representative and minister it is her moral duty to recommend their names for government jobs.
