Uttarakhand Kranti Dal protests outside AIIMS Rishikesh demanding resignation of its Director and stringent punitive action against erring officers for arbitrary 600 appointments of a single state out of 800 appointees

The activists of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal, a regional political outfit of the hilly state today protested outside the Rishikesh AIIMS demanding stringent punitive action against the director and other senior officers responsible for arbitrary appointments of 600 persons of Rajasthan origin in Nursing cadre through unfair means, the charge catagorically refuted by the Rishikesh AIIMS administration claiming that due process and officially laid down norms have been strictly adhered to, in these appointments.

It may be recalled that out of the total eight hundred vacancies about six hundred people of Rajasthan state have been appointed by the AIIMS, Rishikesh administration.

The Uttarakhand Kranti Dal activists led by its vociferous leaders Shanti Prasad Bhatt and Shiv Prasad Semwal n others holding banners n play cards were raising anti AIIMS Rishikesh director slogans demanding his resignation and stringent legal action against the arbitrary appointments lauding the print and electronic media for highlighting this sensitive with the Central Bureau of Investigation finally coming into the scene to investigate this suspicious scandal.

While addressing the UKD protestors the leader of the regional party Shanti Prasad Bhatt directly accused the director of Rishikesh, AIIMS and bureaucrats for colluding with the interested parties to enable these arbitrary appointments of 600 persons of Rajasthan origin, unambiguously substantiating that something illegal and scandalous has definitely happened.

Expressing his confidence and whole hearted trust in the premier investigating agency of the country, CBI – he urged them to bring the real culprits to book accusing the Rishikesh AIIMS administration of various previous irregularities in medicines, and other departments of the hospital, as well.

He said that while the inhabitants and patients of Uttarakhand are not accorded due treatment to the patients of Uttarakhand, the Influential people of Saharanpur, Yamuna Nagar and other states are treated here. This is uncalled for as the AIIMS Rishikesh, despite its several years of existence have not come true to the expectation of the patients coming here to seek treatment.

He accused the administration of appointing 6 members of a single familyi unambiguously substantiating that corruption has been committed in these 600 appointments from a single state.
