Uttarakhand High Court judge Rakesh Thapliyal comes down heavily on Uttarakhand politicians

The honourable judge of Uttarakhand High Court Rakesh Thapliyal expressed his immense annoyance over the ruling party and the politicians of opposition for not declaring Gairsain as its capital despite repeated demands and umpteen protests. While venting his a ger and annoyance over this issue when one of the counsels said in the court that the political parties have assured that if they become victorious in 2027 and the people support them then they will declare the Gairsain as their capital. To this argument the honourable judge pointing towards both ruling and opposition parties said do they think that by issuing such statements they will make the public foolish. Do you tell lies and make the public foolish ? How long will they continue to do this , he asked ? Why shouldn’t we take punitive action against these politicians of their wrong and biased statements in Gairsain said the Judge of Uttarakhand High Court. He further emphasised : Had Gairsain been declared the capital today the Uttarakhand state would have been prosperous he said adding that there would have been hospitals, well studded schools and electricity in every village. Do they know that in Gairsain there is a Wealth of 8000 crores and you say there is no infrastructure. Rakesh Thapliyal, the senior judge of Uttarakhand High Court was giving his views on the indecisive attitude of both the ruling and opposition parties of Uttarakhand the other day on the issue of Gairsain, being made the permanent capital saying that he knows that this is being streamed and I am speaking publicly in this regard.
