Uttarakhand dance was celebrated in full swing in Toronto, Canada under the aegis of Indian Panorama by the Indian Embassy.
The event, organised at the city’s Nathan Phillips Square, witnessed captivating performances of colourful dances from various states of India.
The enthusiasm of the crowd gathered to see the culture, folk dance and traditional costumes of their respective states was worth seeing.
In this sequence, dancer Neerja Joshi took the stage with her team, showcasing the beauty of Uttarakhand.
Along with him, Seema Kanti Parashar, Aditi Joshi, Jyoti Srivastava, Anil Joshi and Saurabh Parashar together gave a wonderful performance of Uttarakhand folk dances Jhora and Chanchari.
The audience was mesmerized by the combination of the dancers’ expressions, gestures and steps with the music.
