Uttarakhand Congress demands immediate stringent action against illegal miners of Kotdwar ! Appeals to speaker for stringent action !
The Congress party in Uttarakhand has demanded immediate closure to the ongoing large scale illegal mining in Kotdwar Uttarakhand a constituency led by none other than the Uttarakhand Assembly speaker earlier by Major General BC Khanduri, the Uttarakhand CM who had lost at the hands of the then Congress nominee Surendra Singh Negi.
The vice president of Uttarakhand Congress Committee Dhirendra Pratap has demanded immediate action against the illegal miners questioning as to why no stringent action is being initiated against the arbitrary miners despite the hard fact that the constituency is being represented by a powerful political entity Ritu Khanduri, speaker, Uttarakhand Assembly. In a video released in social media the vice president of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee Pratap accused the ruling party government of the state for not taking any action in this regard as there is, an unholy nexus of corrupt bureaucrats, leaders and the mining mafia said Dhirendra Pratap.
He while expressing his annoyance and anguish over this incessant illegal mining in two rivers questioned the speaker why this prolonged delay in bringing these illegal miners to justice when they are busy in seamlessly extracting the natural resources illegally for the last ten years. Why this delay in putting the miners behind bars he questioned in his video ? Kindly recall that the speaker Ritu Khanduri had just few days ago ordered to officially probe the ongoing imbroglio of assembly appointments after the Uttarakhand CM had written a letter to her urging to bring down the sentiments if the protesting youths of the state by pacifying them through this probe. She after returning from abroad immediate did the needful by appointing a three member high level committee.
