Uttarakhand Congress chief Ganesh Godiyal said that the CBI investigations in Ankita Bhandari case should be time bound and result oriented
The Uttarakhand Congress chief Ganesh Godiyal said that merely saying that the Uttarakhand government has recommended the Ankita Bhandari case for CBI investigation will not serve the purpose credibly unless the people of the state are acquainted with the nature of investigations and making it time bound.
He catagorically said that his party demands time bound investigations and the CBI should fix milestones as to what investigation will it be carrying phasewise and from when.
He said that though the result of the investigations should be time bound for six months or a year, the premier investigating agency of the country should also keep the people into confidence and reveal about the progress in the investigations.
Godiyal emphasised that the investigations should be transparent, thorough and in-depth to nail the culprit, especially VIP who wanted the extra services from Ankita Bhandari being the root cause leading to her brutal murder.
Godiyal was very clear in this saying that the Congress party and the people of Uttarakhand will keep a close eye on the progress of the developments and ensure that due justice is delivered to late Ankita Bhandari’s traumatised parents and the people of the state who have been relentlessly struggling since day one of this tragic mishappening .
