Uttarakhand community in United Kingdom celebrates Holi with vigour and vitality

This year’s UWAUK community Holi celebration was held on the 15th March 2026. It was a massive success in bringing together hundreds of fellow Uttarakhandis. It turned out to be a vibrant, joyous and inclusive event characterised by bright colour throwing , energetic dancing to dhol-damao music and sharing Indian sweets. To add to this the organisers also had popular DJ Anish playing out some lovely and mesmerising Uttarakhandi and Indian tracks. The atmosphere was electric and filled with laughter and enthusiasm. The organising committee of UWAUK would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in the Holi celebration. Seeing so many people-old and young- come together to celebrate the festival of colours made the day feel truly special. The UWAUK looks forward to celebrating Holi with the Uttrakhand Community London every year and also many other such events throughout the year.
