The chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami today visited the residence of the deceased, renowned comic actor of Uttarakhand Ghananand aka Ghanna Bhai at Dehradun and shared his grief with the family members. The wife of late Ghanna bhai had expired few years ago. He was staying at Dehradun with his sons. Earlier to his visit to console the bereaved family members of late Ghanna Bhai the Uttarakhand chief minister has tweeted today : Received the sad news of the demise of Uttarakhand’s famous comedian Ghanananda ‘Ghanna Bhai’ ji. May God grant the departed soul a place in His feet and give strength to the bereaved family and supporters to bear this immense loss. Your simplicity, softness and unique acting style not only made people laugh, but also gave them a different perspective on many important aspects of life. Your contribution to the film industry and acting in Uttarakhand will never be forgotten. You will always live in our hearts. The former chief minister of Uttarakhand and CWC member Harish Rawat while expressing his deepest condolences over the sudden Demise of iconic comic actor Ghananand aka Ghana Bhai wrote in his social media post : Famous comedian Shri #Ghananand of Pauri district, Uttarakhand, who was famous as “Ghanna Bhai”, has passed away. Shri Ghananand ji was fighting for his life in Mahant Ritesh Hospital for the last several days. Today the person who made everyone happy and made everyone laugh left after making everyone cry, his behavior was very soulful. He was not with us ideologically, but as an artist I respect him a lot. May God rest his soul in peace and give his family the strength to bear this unbearable grief.
