Revoke assembly secretariat appointments, if the high level probe finds them arbitrary writes Uttarakhand CM to speaker !
The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has today written a letter to the Uttarakhand Assembly speaker Ritu Khanduri urging to revoke all those appointments in the Assembly secretariat which are found arbitrary after a high level impartial enquiry into the ongoing controversy and strictly adhering to complete transparency and impartiality in the future appointments. In an urgent letter in Hindi addressed to the speaker, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami wrote that in view of the controversy erupting in social, print and electronic media due to some arbitrary appointments in the assembly secretariat it is utmostly essential to maintain the dignity of this autonomous constitutional body on priority basis as we’ve been doing since long. You will also agree with me that in view of the dignity, piousness of the Uttarakhand assembly and the sentiments of the young aspirants, the following points need to be addressed forthwith.
A high level enquiry should be initiated in the ongoing controversy regarding the appointments done in the assembly secretariat and in case any appointment is found irregular or arbitrary those appointments should be revoked forthwith. Provisions should also be made for the transparent and impartial appointments in the assembly secretariat in future. The state government is already taking strict measures to stringently punish the guilty of the UKSSSC cheating n leaked paper culprits responsible for arbitrary recruitments said the chief minister in his letter. He requested the speaker Uttarakhand assembly that in view of the ongoing recruitment controversy she should urgently consider the above mentioned points of his letter.
