Uttarakhand CM gives a ceremonial flag off to the veteran footballers team players to participate in Khelo India’s Masters National Championships


The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami yesterday blessed and accorded his good wishes to the senior players , the veteran footballers of Uttarakhand giving them a ceremonial send off from his residence at Dehradun for their participation in the Khelo India games (Masters National Championships) being held in New Delhi.

What is important to note here is the fact that in these compitition five veteran footballers players from Kot Block, Patti Sithionsiun Pauri Garhwal are participating.
The chief minister also presented them the Garhwal Heroes green fascinating TShirts.
Garhwal Heroes is a prestigious Football club having been the three time Delhi Soccer champion and the current runners up.

Those from Kot Block, Pauri Garhwal flagged off by the chief minister with best wishes for their succesful performance in the Khelo India Veteran football compitition with several others are : Virendra Singh Chauhan, village Bakroda, Yadavendra Chauhan, village Bakroda, Ratan Rawat , village Kathud, Prem Singh Panwar village, Kathud, Patti Sithonsiun , Pauri Garhwal under the jurisdiction of Kotwali Block.
Many congratulations to the entire team, it is a matter of pride for Kot block, Patti Sithonsiun, Pauri Garhwal as well.

It may be recalled that Kot block has been in the forefront for producing best footballers of Uttarakhand with many of them playing for prestigious Garhwal Heroes football Club like Dayal Singh Pawar, Magan Singh Patwal , Mr.Chouhan, Guman Singh etc all key players having brought laurels for the club by being thrice the Delhi Soccer champions and this time runner up.
The untiring efforts of Anil Negi, Secretary General , Bhagwan Singh Negi, Rattan Singh, and several others have paid dividend to the club which is currently being run by Bhaichung Bhutia football academy. KUDOS
