Uttarakhand CM assures Uttarakhand movement activists to convene a meeting to resolve their pending issues
The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has assured the Uttarakhand movement activists that he will soon meet them and try to resolve their genuine demands. The chief minister accorded this assurance to Dhirendra Pratap, vice president of Uttarakhand Congress and chief coordinator of the Chinhit Andolankari Samanvay Samittee, who met him today at Uttarakhand Sadan, Chanakyapuri at New Delhi. The vice president Dhirendra Pratap while interacting with the chief minister acquainted him about the protest demonstration held by the Uttarakhand movement activists at Raj Bhawan, Dehradun the other day demanding ten percent reservation in government jobs, reinstatement of those terminated from govt jobs, giving pensions to the dependents of the separate movement activists and declaring Gairsain as the permanent capital of Uttarakhand. The chief minister gave patient hearing to Mr. Pratap during the ten minute meeting and assured him that he will convene a meeting of Andolankaries giving a serious thought over the implementation of their demands shortly expressing his solidarity and due sympathy with them. He assured that the government will surly accord a serious thought to their demands as in his personal view they hold tremendous significance and reverence in the inner core of his heart.
