Uttarakhand boiling with protest demonstrations in every street on Ankita Bhandari case as well as the increasing attacks of the maneaters and wild bears on vulnerable population of villages and towns
Uttarakhand is boiling due to heat created by the most sensational Ankita Bhandari case after the startling revelations about the names of two BJP leaders of state and national stature as the alleged VIPs who pressurised to seek the extra service of the late 19 year old innocent but brave daughter.
The entire Uttarakhand is full of protests,effigy burnings of the so called VIPs demanding CBI probe including protest demonstrations to safeguard the inhabitants of Uttarakhand from the increasing wild animals attack like maneaters and bears.
There have been repeated casualties by maneater attacks and grievous injuries inflicted on women and men by wild bears at various locations.
Entire Uttarakhand is today boiling under the heat of protest demonstrations with the BJP government under fire consistently allegedly trying to curb those who are questioning the alleged VIPs with evidences and the administration for not taking the required legal action against them.
On the contrary the national general secretary of the saffron party, ex MP and Uttarakhand incharge Dushyant Gautam whose name has appeared in the audio narrated by the ex BJP MLA from Haridwar Suresh Rathore as one of the alleged VIP has written a strong letter to the home secretary of Uttarakhand to issue notices to several media channels, instagram handles and twittereties and withdraw the content forthwith thus amounting to stifling the free voice of the fourth estate.
He also threatened the fourth estate to face the legal consequences in future which actually is the constitutional right of media. The job of the media is the dissemination of information and on the shoulders of honourable courts lie the responsibility to deliver justice.
The media fraternity of Uttarakhand including the national media and the people across spectrum are badly infuriated and annoyed with the way the Ankita Bhandari case is being handled asking the government to take immediate stringent punitive action against the VIPs named in the audio video by the actress Urmila Sanawar and take the case to its definitive judicious conclusion.
Not a single area of Uttarakhand is spared of protest demonstrations on this count demanding an impartial CBI probe in Ankita Bhandari case to nail the actual VIP behind this deadly incident which led to get sexual assault, intimidation and subsequent diabolical murder of Ankita Bhandari.
As a sequel to the ongoing protest demonstrations in Rishikesh thousands of women protested demanding their safety from the attacks of wild bears and maneater leopards and tigers while in Nainital hundreds of people of civil society protested raising slogans for CBI probe condemning the government for allegedly protecting the VIPs in Ankita Bhandari case. This was a candle march with every protestor holding candles in their hands symbolic to aware ( mobilise) the sleeping administration and the government over this most sensitive case, symbolic of women insecurity and protection of the dreaded culprits. We want justice, we want justice for Ankita Bhandari were the slogans that rented the air thoroughly and repeatedly.
