Uttarakhand announces deposition of Rs 12000 in every 10 th and 12th class students’ acount to buy tablets terming the day as Uttarakhand Digital Shiksha Kranti Diwas
On the lines of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Aditya Nath, in Uttarakhand too, the Bhartiya Janata Party chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami who has earned the tag of ” Ghoshna Mukhyamantri”, by the opposition party leaders having made more than 500 announcements worth thousand of crores of rupees in just few months, claiming to have issued the government orders of all the projects has today announced deposition of Rs 12000 in each n every bank accounts of over 1Lakh 59 thousand students of 10 th and 12 th classes of Uttarakhand for purchase of tablets terming the day as Digital Education Revolution diwas.
In a tweet posting a video of his, distributing tablets to a students of a government schools etc the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami under the title of Uttarakhand Digital Education Revolution tweeted in Hindi : An amount of Rs 12000 has been deposited in each n every acount of the 1 lakh 59000 students of 10 th and 12 th classes for purchase of tablets in Uttarakhand. This day will definitely termed as the “Digital Shiksha Kranti Diwas”, tweeted Uttarakhand CM.
At Vikas Nagar legislative constituency the chief minister announced schemes worth Rs 260 crores in a public meeting and also inaugurated them, claiming that the monthly salary of the Asha workers n food mothers have also been enhanced to Rs. 10000.
The chief minister Dhami who is round the clock extremely mobile busy in making one after another announcements despite the state running a fiscal deficit of about Rs 65000 crores and accused by the AAP CM candidate Colonel Ajay Kothiyal for betraying the states electorates by till now only issuing the government orders of 15 % schemes out of 1069 announcements, the chief minister said that he has made in all 500 declarations of various projects and all of them have been cleared by his government issuing official orders forthwith.
In addition to all this, in series of tweets this morning the CM wrote : We have enhanced the old are pension to Rs 1400 every month and are giving tremendous impetus on home stay in addition to commencing the employment process on 24000 cases to provide jobs to the youngsters.
He accused the previous government of Congress for laying foundation stones of various projects not inaugurating them formally which are now being implemented on the ground said Pushkar Singh Dhami.
He thanked the prime minister Narendra Modi for investing Rs. 5 lakh crores from the central government during the last five years in various over ambitious pro people projects in Uttarakhand.
He also thanked the PM for sanctioning the Lakhwad project in just five days. It may be recalled that Lakwar- Vyasi Dam project cleared by PM Narendra Modi includes under construction Lakhwar Dam and power station, Vyasi Dam, Hathiyari power station and Kathapathar barrage situated near the Lakhwar town in Kalsi Block of Dehradun district in Garhwal, Uttarakhand to irrigate 40000 hectares of land. This project is to generate 927 Megawatt of electricity.
It may be recalled that though there is anti incumbency factor likely to harm the ruling party in the ensuing elections the incumbent CM is working tremendously hard since the day he assumed office of the chief minister five moths ago. The prime minister too had addressed two massive public meetings, one at Dehradun and another at Haldwani inaugurating various developmental projects including opening of AIIMS in Kumaon and several medical colleges in various, parts of Uttarakhand etc.
