UNION POWER & HOUSING MINISTER MANOHAR LAL KHATTAR IN TEHRI, GARHWAL. DIRECTS CMD, THDC FOR A FULLY EQUIPPED MEDICAL COLLEGE/ HOSPITAL
The legislature from Tehri, Garhwal constituency now in BJP, earlier in Congress as the Industrial advisor to former CM Narayan Dutt Tiwari n firmer Uttarakhand Congress chief Kishore Upadhyay has heartily welcomed the union minister of Energy ( Power) and Housing and former chief minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar in Bhagirathipuram Tehri who arrived here on a chopper, today.
While welcoming him on his assumption of the important charge as union minister of Energy ( Power) and Housing Kishore Upadhyay presented him a memorandum and also interacted with in detail on the grievances of the Tehri Dam evacuees as well as the problems of those affected adversely after the construction of Tehri Dam. Kishore Upadhyay also brought into the notice of the minister of power n Housing Manohar Lal Khattar the acute shortage of medical facilities and felt the urgent need for setting up of a full fledged Medical hospital in Tehri, Bhagirathipuram equipped with all the latest medical equipments n facilities.
After the detailed interaction he directed the THDC managing director to immediately construct a full fledged Medical hospital in collaboration with the state government for the medical treatment of the local populace especially those effected after being destabilized due to the Tehri Dam coming into existence. The minister directed the Working Director of THDC L.P.Joshi to monitor and supervise the entire work of this medical college project.
