Union minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank in stable condition but still in ICU at AIIMS
Today is the seventh day of union minister of education Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank in Intensive Care Unit of All India Institute of Medical Sciences recuperating after complaining of breathlessness seven days ago after being treated for Covid a month ago. Dr Nishank’s oxygen level had deteriorated to 80 said one of his close associates Bechain Kandial whom this journo spoke today afternoon. While the health condition of union minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank is reported to be stable and out of danger, he is still on nebuliser for regular oxygen intake, prohibited to meet n talk to anyone not even on twitter etc. According to Kandial the oxygen level of the minister had come down to 80 when he was admitted in the ICU but his condition improved later on saying that he is stable now, not to worry but still in ICU. It may be recalled that Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank was admitted in AIIMS ICU a week ago for post Covid complications when he reported of breathlessness. His oxygen level had come down to 80 which went up thereafter improving his condition. He was under the treatment of Dr. Neeraj Nishchol, associate professor of medicines. Dr. Nishank was earlier admitted in AIIMS a month ago when he contracted Covid 19. He was discharged from AIIMS after few days of admission fully treated and healthy. Sixty one year old Education Minister Dr. Nishank resumed his work in the ministry and had been extremely busy in his office engagements n meeting via vedio conferencing. However, his Twitter handle is still active despite the minister having been restrained to be active in social media. His latest two twitter messages wrote : (1) Assistive technology, simplified lessons,multimodal evaluation, etc are to be included in the E content for different abled students (2) Based on our interaction with parents and organisations, in addition to ADTs, there are specific guidelines for the development of supplimentry E content for students with disabilities tweeted minister.
