UMESH KUMAR , INDEPENDENT MLA CREATES A STORM IN GAIRSAIN ASSEMBLY ! SAYS CONSPIRACY AT WORK TO DESTABILISE DHAMI GOVT !
The independent legislator earlier owning a news channel Samachar Plus Umesh Kumar had created a thunderstorm in Gairsain Assembly when he raised apprehensions regarding the present Uttarakhand government led by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami likely to demolish as certain vested interests are at work at the behest of the Gupta brothers who have allegedly invested Rs. 500 crores behind this conspiracy.
The statement of Umesh Kumar legislator from Khanpur, Roorkee a bete noire of former CMs Harish Rawat and Trivendra Singh Rawat has met with tremendous criticism with Congress spokesperson Garima Mehra Dasauni terming his statement as highly irresponsible challenging him to prove his charges.
On the other hand the former union minister education and former CM Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has in a press conference strongly criticised Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar for issuing such an irresponsible statement saying that every word that is spoken in Assembly holds constitutional significance and should be proved to the core. ASSEMBLY is a pious institution and one can’t speak anything irrelevant without any basis. He asked Umesh Kumar to prove his charges to the core with credible evidences and also urged the government to look into it seriously n if his statement found unfounded should be dealt with as per law. What is interesting to note here is the fact that the speaker Ritu Khanduri instead of asking Umesh Kumar for a credible evidence to prove his point took it very lightly paying no heed to his statement. Sounds shocking indeed.
Meanwhile, the independent MLA from Khanpur, Roorkee, Uttarakhand Umesh Kumar has written on his social media handle an open letter in Hindi responding to those who are questioning him on his charges about alleged destabilising efforts of the government under way , under the heading : COMMENTS ON ME AFTER MY STARTLING REVELATIONS ON FAMOUS GUPTA BROTHERS : AN OPEN LETTER :
This session of the Gairsain Assembly has become extremely historic. I had raised the question that the most wanted of ” Desh and Duniya ” most wanted Gupta brothers were given Y Z catagory security including money laundering to the business of heli company by the then three CMs because of whom the leading businessmen Satendra Sahni has committed suicide. The Gupta brothers who had been declared most wanted by several countries were honourable given permission to hold the vulgar ostentatious wedding for their sons by the then CM and he himself had gone there as their FOOFAA. ( Trivendra Singh Rawat, MP was then the Uttarakhand CM).
My question is why are Congress and BJP both so obligatory towards the Gupta brothers ? He further writes : Which CMs’ money has been invested in South Africa business ? If you don’t know then I will tell you with credible evidence wrote Umesh Kumar MLA . He challenged those questioning him as to why don’t they write now on this when crores of rupees of public exchequer has gone abroad arbitrarily. He even named the former CMs as below, Harish Rawat, Trivendra Singh Rawat, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank saying that during the rule of these chief ministers the state was destabilised and during these CMs governments they were given X security , massive businesses etc.
Now you are asking about the source of the 500 crores , do you want to murder him? Wrote Umesh adding further that I say with full confidence that if it ( the government) will order an in-depth serious enquiry into it then many faces will become open wrote Umesh Kumar legislator in his social media post.
It may be recalled that in 2016 -17 when the Uttarakhand Congress government led by Harish Rawat was destabilised after 9 – eleven legislators have defected to BJP , the then chief of Samachar Plus now MLA Umesh Kumar had carried out a sting operation against Harish Rawat regarding horse trading of MLAs creating quite an uproar in Congress and media circles. The sting was carried out at Rishikesh Airport showing Harish Rawat and Umesh Kumar in conversation about the horse trading of MLAs.
