Two more dead bodies of a woman and a girl retrieved from landslide ribble at Gaurikund today

Uttarakhand is daily witnessing dead bodies in various natural calamity hit areas particularly due to landslides. While five dead bodies have been recovered in Rudraprayag by police, BRO and, SDRF while clearing landslide on highway road including a badly damaged Dzire wrapped under the rubble, at Gaurikund after 18 people gone missing in another landslide tragedy , on Saturday two more dead bodies have been recovered. According to a latest news a women and a young girl’s dead bodies have been recovered by the rescue team. It may be recalled that on 3 rd August about twenty peace had been swept away in a huge tragedy at Gaurikund, Rudraprayag. About seven dead bodies had been recovered then while 16 people were reportedly missing. There were reports of maximum Nepali people having died in this tragedy at Gaurikund where the rescue operation is still going on. The tragedy occurred on 3 rd August when a huge landslide occurred at 11.30 in the night at Daatpul, Gaurikund on Kedarnath walking road that resulted in immediate sweeping of three shops within no time on the border of the highway and twenty people getting swept away. The SDRF and police could retrieve seven deadly bodies on this tragic day where as the rescue operation continued to date with two more dead bodies of a woman and a girl recovered today.
