Two candidates of India Greens Party file nomination papers from New Delhi and South Delhi parliamentary constituencies
Two candidates of India Greens Party led by eminent journalist and social activist Suresh Nautiyal have filed nomination papers from New Delhi and South Delhi parliamentary constituencies yesterday and today. Suresh Nautiyal has filed his nomination papers yesterday with his colleagues and supporters backing him and boosting his morale while another candidate who is working for preservation and promotion of Uttarakhandi languages – Garhwali, Kumaoni and Jaunsari in Delhi , Uttarakhand and at the pan India level Dr. Bihari Lal Jalandhari has filed his nomination papers from South Delhi today amidst playing of drums by Uttarakhandi Folk musicians and artists in their traditional attire. The regional parties of Uttarakhand Uttarakhand Kranti Dal, Uttarakhand Parivartan Party and Gondwana Gantantra Party has already extended their full fledged support to both the candidates of India Green Party. Established few years ago in New Delhi the India Green Party is contesting for the very first time from Delhi’s two parliamentary constituencies. The party believed in environmental protection and pursuing everything which is good and healthy for clean and pollution free environment. The main purpose of the contesting candidates is to mobilise people towards healthy environment and everything that is green against plastic, polythene and pollution which has made the people’s lives hell in cities, towns, metropolises etc. Suresh Nautiyal is a leading journalist and associated with green party and environmental politics since long and had travelled in good number of countries participating in seminars of various green initiatives globally. Its candidates have almost negligible budget who believe in mobilising people of the country through their party manifesto of green and clean environment. They will be giving their views on environment protection and clean and green environment to enable people become conscious towards the most important subject of green and clean environment which is inevitable for the healthy and long lives of the citizens globally. Suresh Nautiyal says that
“Contesting an election is about learning the finer nuances of a democracy.” and “If a democracy is not true, it is like a sea full of mud and stones, not water and marine life.
