Uttarakhand has become the synonym of fatal accidents almost daily, even two in a day as on Thursday morning when two back to back accidents took place one on Badrinath Highway at Gholtir near Rudraprayag when a tempo traveller losing control plunged into Alaknanda river killing two and injuring seven with several other missing. Another accident occured on Chakkrata road leading to three youthful tragic deaths and one injury after a vehicle with four occupants fell four hundred metres down in a gorge. According to the latest news the deadly accident held near #Jajared on #Chakrata road when a speeding vehicle fell into a 400 metre deep gorge after meeting an accident in which three youths died and one youth got injured.
The injured person has been identified as
Mayank Chauhan, son of Chaman Chauhan, resident of Matiyava, Tehsil Chakrata, age 22 years.
The deceased have been identified as
- Mukesh Rana, son of Tikam Singh Rana, resident of Koti Kanasar, police station Kasi, age 21 years
- Priyanshu Chauhan, son of Jaiprakash Chauhan, resident of Jagatpur Khadar Tilwari, Sahaspur, Dehradun, age 22 years, studying – Devbhoomi University
- Deepak Sati, son of Kulanand Sati, resident of Bhauwala, age 25 years.
