Rudraprayag: Sad news has come from Jakhniyala area of Jakholi block in Rudraprayag district. CRPF jawan Sepoy Gajendra Kumar has attained martyrdom while serving Mother India.
Today, the mortal remains of martyr Gajendra Kumar were brought to his ancestral home in Patiyaldhar under the leadership of Assistant Commandant Dharmendra Dhyani. As soon as the brave son’s body reached home, a wave of grief swept across the entire area.
Family members could not hold back their tears. Villagers and locals who gathered to pay their last respects also became emotional seeing their hero. Every eye was moist and the atmosphere was sombre.
Gajendra Kumar made the supreme sacrifice while serving the nation. His martyrdom will always be remembered by the country and by the people of the region.
May God grant the departed soul a place at His feet and give strength to the grieving family to bear this immense loss.
