Prime minister Narendra Modi today congratulated the security forces for eliminating twenty seven Naxalites including their God father the CPI ( Maoist ) top most leader , general secretary Nambala Keshav Rao Aka Basavaraju considered to be the main inspiring force behind naxalism in India. This is the first ever such a huge achievement in India in eliminating the Naxal cadres.
The prime minister termed this as a landmark achievement writing on X : A landmark achievement in the battle to eliminate Naxalism.
Earlier before the prime minister Narendra Modi’s message of congratulations on X the union home minister Amit Shah informed that today, in an operation in Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh, our security forces have neutralized 27 dreaded Maoists, including Nambala Keshav Rao, alias Basavaraju, the general secretary of CPI-Maoist, topmost leader, and the backbone of the Naxal movement.
This is the first time in three decades of Bharat’s battle against Naxalism that a general secretary-ranked leader has been neutralized by our forces. I applaud our brave security forces and agencies for this major breakthrough.
Also glad to share that after completion of Operation Black Forest, 54 Naxalites have been arrested and 84 Naxalites have surrendered in Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Maharashtra.
The Modi government is resolved to eliminate Naxalism before the 31st of March 2026 said union home minister Amit Shah with a great sense of satisfaction and success in his war against Naxalites said the union home minister Amit Shah with an immense sense of satisfaction over his pre annouced commitment to wipe out Naxalism from the country.
