Pictures like Kashmir files need to be brought to the fore to know the truth bringing them before the people of the country. Those who have objections to it may come out with another movie, but gagging the truth for three decades is not correct. Prime minister said we talk of Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi n his good deeds. Till a film was not made n if made it was made by a foreign company making the entire humanity aware of his good n noble deeds of Mahatma Gandhi. No film was made to highlight the misrule during emergency nor the plight of Kashmiri Pundits ever highlighted, rather concealed for three decades. Now the Kashmir Files have been made to expose the mis happenings of 1990.

The truth must be exposed said prime minister Narendra Modi accusing the so called intellectuals talking of freedom of expression trying to find fault with Kashmir Files movie highlighting the genuine plight of the suffering Kashmiries in 1990 he said. Meanwhile the chief spokesman of Congress Randeep Singh Surjewala posted several tweets criticizing the government but in one of his tweets annexing the vidio of prime minister mentioned in hindi :

Should the PM of the country leave everything like ideals of Bapu and plight of Kashmiri Pundits to the films? When will the government feel it’s responsibilities, not facing the real issues and truths. After all till when will they continue to find political mileage on acount of spreading hatred and division tweeted Randeep Singh Surjewala.

According to another tweet Surjewala wrote : Modiji should tell, when in 1990 the Kashmiri Pundits were compelled to migrate under the shadow of torture and terror, then BJP had 85 MPs on whose support the V. P. Singh government was ruling at the centre. What were they doing then ? Why were the Pundits provoked for exodus by the Governor appointed by the government, supported by them at the centre tweeted Congress spokesman Surjewala.

Kindly recall that in 1990 when the mass exodus of Kashmiri Pundits took place due to their extreme torture by terrorists, the National Conference was ruling the state with Dr. Farooq Abdullah being its CM and at centra was VP Singh government ruling with Jagmohan, the BJP man, the then governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
