Trump’s new executive order bans birthright to children born to illegally staying parents in US or children born to parents on Tourist VISA

There is a highly worrisome news for all, especially the Indians who visit United States of America in large numbers as tourists and deliver their babies ( sons/ daughters) during their temporary stay there as tourists to seek better educational opportunities, quality life and better sources of income.

If the new executive order signed by the United States president Donald Trump really comes into effect , which has currently been termed as a blatantly unconstitutional order by the judge John Coughenour while the US justice department defending it, then this will really negatively impact at least 1.5 lakh new born children in US annually who’ll be denied citizenships says the news report of Reuters quoting Democratic led states.

Meanwhile, according to ABC news President Trump is sending 1,500 additional troops to the southern border, building off the executive actions he signed on Monday, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said.

It may be recalled that while contesting for presidentship during his election campaign President Donald Trump has been categorically revealing in his public addresses that after he comes to power he will ensure that illegal migration to US with be dealt with severely and all the illegal migrants would be punished and deported to theif respective countries.

Meanwhile, according to a latest development in India the Indian external affairs official spokesman Randhir Jaiswal has in a press briefing said that India is against illegal immigration particularly because it is associated with an organised crime.

He categorically said that the Indian government never supports such illegal activities and is deadly against illegal migration.

If anyone is illegally migrating to US or any other country of the globe or without legal documentation, we will bring them back to India provided the documents explaining about their arbitrariness is shared with the Indian government.

Speaking at the briefing, the MEA spokesman Jaiswal clearly said that illegal migration and trade are two different issues altogether.

Our approach and policy is absolutely transparent considering illegal migration connected with organised crime.

According to NDTV on January 20 following the inaugural ceremony , 47 th US president Donald Trump signed series of executive orders including restricting automatic birthright citizenship.

This order specifically focuses on the fourteenth amendment which categorically clarifies that all persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the states wherein they reside.

This clearly means that anyone who is born in US under any circumstances is the US citizen but Trumps executive new order interprets this amentment differently. This means children born to the undocumented parents aren’t entitled to automatic birthright citizenship asper the order. Trumps new executive order only apply to persons who are both within the US after thirty days from the date of the order that is after February 19.
