Traumatised parents of Anamika, meet LG Delhi with RS, MP Anil Baluni

THE parents of deceased Damini of Najafgarh, a nineteen year old victim, brutally killed after obnoxious gang rape has met the Lt. Governor of Delhi Vinay Kumar Saxena along with the Rajya Sabha member and BJP national media in charge Anil Baluni yesterday who presented a memorandum to him requesting for filing a review petition in Supreme Court obviously through Delhi Police which are under him, under the jurisdiction of ministry of home affairs. The Lt governor NCT of Delhi heard the bereaved parents of the Chavla victim patiently and wholeheartedly assured them of his, full support in getting the needful done. Prior to meeting the Lt governor, the aggrieved parents who have been relentlessly fighting for the last ten years seeking justice for their daughter have met the Rajya, Sabha MP Anil Baluni who fixed their appointment with the LG NCT Delhi as filing of a review petition in the apex court is an urgent necessity after the acquittal of all the three convicts recently blaming Delhi Police of patchy investigations leaving behind several loopholes. However, from the side of Uttarakhand, Samaj and her parents a petition is being filed by the legal committee headed by senior advocate and High Court advocate n DNC bar Association secretary Sandeep Sharma. In a meeting held at Garhwal bhawan a few days ago it was unanimously decided that the parents will not be taken to meet any politicians and Delhi Police should file the review petition on Supreme Court apart from other petitions. However, it was decided to meet hon’ble Home minister Amit Shah and, Delhi Police commissioner. A unanimous decision was also taken in this meeting to light a lamp, candle or Diya in the memory of Late Kiran Negi at the pan India, level on 20 November, 2022 at 9 PM onwards in house balconies etc.
