TRAGEDY AT SAIJI , BURAANS VILLAGES IN PABO , PAURI GARHWAL SHATTERED THE VILLAGE FOLKS THAT CLAIMED TWO LIVES OF WOMEN BURIED UNDER THEIR HOUSE DEBRIS , UTTERLY SHOCKING
The tragedy of Saiji, Buraans
gaon that has taken two lives of women folks of that village who were unfortunately buried under the huge Debris of their houses could not be in much news as a day before Dharali and Harshil witnessed a massive tragedy of gigantic proportion where several died with over sixty persons missing.
Though the chief minister of Uttarakhand has announced the financial compensation of merely Rs. Five lakhs for each house collapse at Dharali, Harshil, Sainji , Burans villages etc the tragic site pictures shake one and all.
After the cloudburst, the ravishing flash floods’ flow was so massive in this village including Burans n Bankura that nine to eleven houses and the places of domestic pets are believed to have collapsed with two women and a man died brutally and good number of domestic pets too buried under the heavy debris.
The Uttarakhand police have posted some pictures in social media about the relief works being carried out by them and being active in the renovation and rehabilitation of the local residents of Saijee village in Pabou development block of Pauri Garhwal district.
According to Uttarakhand police : #Saji village of #Pauri district is facing the brunt of natural disaster these days.
The recent heavy rainfall and landslides have completely disrupted the life of the village.
The debris falling from the mountain slopes, broken roads and continuous heavy rains have made the situation extremely difficult for the people here.
Many houses have been partially damaged, while some families have left their houses and taken shelter in temporary shelters. Disaster relief and rescue operations of Pauri Police continue in Saiji village.
The former Uttarakhand chief and former Congress MLA Ganesh Godiyal had gone to the village Buraans and met the bereaved families and parted their grief. He also went to the crematorium to pay his tributes assuring of all possible help to the bereaved families expressing his deepest condolences.
