With election campaigning in Uttarakhand to stop on 12 th February evening, the prime minister Narendra Modi and former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi were busy giving final shape to their party’s respective campaign programmes at Srinagar, GRhwal and MNglore, Haridwar impressing the voters for their achievements and giving further assurances of employment, state’s overall development and criticizing each other to the core to ride on the saddle of power in Uttarakhand on 11 th February.
Wearing a fascinating coca cola colour Uttarakhand cap while prime minister Prime minister Narendra Modi again impressed the Uttarakhandi electorates at Srinagar Garhwal, by initiating his speech using few Garhwali sentences saying that he had been visiting Uttarakhand even before the elections to pay his obeisance to Baba Kedar and the pious soil of Uttarakhand including legendary figures like Panthya Dada, Madho Singh Bhandari, brave women Teelu Rauteli n others, the vociferous Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused prime minister Narendra Modi of indirectly threatening him of CBI and ED saying that in one of the interviews he had said that Rahul don’t understand n listen to anything, meaning that he ( Rahul) is not afraid of these agencies as these don’t affect him. Rahul was addressing the Congress rally at Mangalore Haridwar on 11 th while prime minister Narendra Modi was speaking to voters at Srinagar Garhwal.
From here Rahul went to Jogeshwar to address a meeting and also perform Puja, at this, historic temple.
The prime minister in his third public meeting after two addressed on December 4 th and 29 th, at Dehradun and Haldwani said that Uttarakhand, its people and bravehearts have always protected our nation at our borders as Sajag Praharies, ( Vigilant watchmen) for which the entire country is indebted to them.
Addressing a rally at Srikot, NIT grounds in Pauri Garhwal district in support of the sitting MLA and minister Dhan Singh Rawat and contesting candidates of several other adjoining Constituencies Prime minister Modi said that I had come here on the call of Baba Kedarnath to touch the soil of Uttarakhand on my forehead a land of legendary personalities and bravehearts like Tilu Rauteli, Madho Singh Bhandari n Panthya Data etc. Lauding the Sankalp Patra ( menifesto) of BJP he said that this unique menifesto of BJP will make this, decade a historic decade of Uttarakhand.
This Sankalp Patra will fulfill all the aspirations of youths, farmers, women etc assured PM Narendra Modi.
Strongly criticizing the Congress party and its earlier governments prime minister while patting the BJP government for fulfilling the one rank one pension long pending demands of the ex-servicemen men, said that they ( Congress) have also deceived defence forces personel by never addressing this, significant demand, but BJP govt did it.
Lauding Atal Bihari Vajpayee for granting the separate Uttarkhand state he said that the BJP government is fulfilling his wishes of a prosperous, state and also paying respects to the bravehearts of Indian Army n their supreme sacrifices by establishing Sainya Dham at Dehradun.
Taking the Congress governments to task criticizing them for never caring for the upgradation of Chardham shrines Prime minister said that the Congress governments had never cared for them but the saffron party government has fully upgraded, reconstructed and renovated these four historic shrines as for BJP these are the centres of ( dedication, Culture, and service to the people) Aastha, Sanskriti and Jansewa.
Shaming n badly criticizing the Congress party n its leaders about insulting and humiliating the then Army general n first CDS late Bipin Rawat by calling him Goonda, Prime minister Modi said that today this party is erecting his big cut outs and exploiting his name to derive political benefits in this elections.
Mentioning about a video praising prime minister Narendra Modi by village women n BJP supporters of Karnaprayag village including the BJP candidate Asha, Nautiyal, he expressed his immense jubilation and extended his gracious thanks to them pledging to work for their welfare n well-being tirelessly.

In his, speech at Mangalore, Haridwar Rahul Gandhi dared PM that he is not afraid of his, CBI and ED criticizing him for imposing demonetisation and GST leading to massive unemployment, business going under tremendous strain and sma businessman compelled to close them etc. He also criticised the BJP government for not tackling the critical situation during challenging Covid times resulting in endless deaths and difficulties to countrymen. He assured that the Congress menifesto guarantees employment to 4 lakh youths in Uttarakhand, Rs 40 thousand dole to every family annually, etc blaming the BJP government for spoiling Uttarakhand and future of it’s people. The BJP government has, destroyed Uttarakhand fully and in all fronts added Rahul Gandhi.
Prime minister Narendra Modi is addressing two meetings at Almora and Udham Singh Nagar. Today he is addressing a public meeting in Udham Singh Nagar and tomorrow at Almora.
Meanwhile, according to the latest news pouring in the farmers in Rudrapur, Udham Singh Nagar are opposing the the BJP rally protesting against non fulfilment of MSP, n three agricultural laws including withdrawal of cases lodged against them etc. This decision was disclosed in a press conference.
