Three observers declared for Three Congress seats in Delhi and BJP announces its star campaigners list for Delhi

The Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has declared the names of three observers for Delhi elections. The Congress party is contesting on three parliamentary seats and the AAP on four as the I.N.D.I.A. candidates. The three observers announce by the General Secretary ( Organisation) K.C.Venugopal are Sachin Pilot for North East Delhi from where Kanhaiya Kumar is the Congress candidate, Choudhary Birendra Singh from North West Delhi from where Uditraj is the party candidate and CP Joshi, former union minister and former speaker of Rajasthan from Chandni Chowk from where the veteran Congress leader and earlier three term MP Jai Prakash Aggrawal is contesting. In a press release issue here the AICC general secretary K.C Venugopal said that these three appointments of observers for three parliamentary constituencies of Delhi were made after the national chief of AICC Mallikarjun Kharge approved their names. Meanwhile the BJP has also declared the names of its star campaigners from Delhi . The list includes prime minister Narendra Modi, union home minister Amit Shah , Defence minister Rajnath Singh and national BJP chief J.P.Nadda, including the recently defected former Congress chief of Delhi Arvinder Singh Lovely. The Bhartiya Janata Party had fielded its candidates in all the seven seats of Delhi retaining only one former MP Manoj Tiwari from North East Delhi who will be fighting against Congress party’s Kanahiya Kumar. The tickets of sitting MPs Dr.Harshvardhan former MP n former union minister from Chandni Chowk, Minakshi Lekhi, state minister of external affairs from New Delhi, Hans Raj Hans from Outer , North West Delhi, Bidhuri from South Delhi and eminent Cricketer Gautam Gambhir have been cut this time to avoid anti incumbency factor prominent against them. The election for the seven parliamentary seats of Delhi are slated for 25 th May with counting on 4 th June for all the 545 seats. It may be recalled that the former JNU student leader who was in CPI and then joined Congress at the personal initiative of Rahul Gandhi, KANAHIYA Kumar is a strong bet for the Congress party as he spoke s not only a good orator but a dashing leader too quite expert in collecting and motivating crowds by his logical speeches touching all the issues of employment , skyrocketing inflation, extravagant foreign tours of BJP leaders including the PM , women security issues, corruption and other burning issues concerning a common man. Addressing a massive rally in his constituency the other day he touched upon all issues coming down heavily on Prime minister Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah earning the accolades from large number of youths in particular and even senior citizens and women giving an unambiguous impression about change in North East parliamentary constituency where issues of unemployment, inflation, communal disharmony, divisive policies of the present political dispensation and polarisation on religious slogans are reverberating and the two terms sitting Bhojpuri singer turned MP is confronting tremendous anti incumbency. Both Manoj Tiwari, BJP and Kanahiya Kumar ( Congress) are from Poorvanchal and banking on Poorvanchal voters, majority voters being migrants from Bihar and UP and minorities as well as dalit votes bank too matters in this Constituency majorly. In 2014 and 2019 Manoj Tiwari has scored victory from this Constituency, but this time it may s quite obvious that the contest seems to be neck to neck between both the candidates with Manoj Tiwari to remain on a defensive more due to anti incumbency likely to make things difficult for him. Kanahiya Kumar, the NSUI in-charge on the other hand is the poorest candidate in the fray compared to other candidates with BSP candidate who recently left AAP Raj Kumar Anand the richest candidate having shown his assets for Rs 84 crores whereas Kanahiya is just worth 11 lakhs. Yesterday Kanahiya Kumar was in Burari to seek support of Uttarakhandi voters where he acknowledged a rousing welcome with several social organisations of Uttarakhand in Burari and a large Uttarakhandi population assured support for this firebrand leader who in turn assured them to stand by the Uttarakhand community in their thick and thin.
