Three crushed to death by speeding truck in Shastri Park while two grievously injured
In the national capital territory of Delhi there are hundreds of pavements encroached upon including pavements under flyovers and under metro stations encroached with children and their families sleeping on the pavements inviting dreaded accidents.
One such accident has occured today in the early morning hours at 5.30 A.M. at Shastri Park , trans Yamuna when a speeding truck crushed three persons sleeping on the pavement resulting in their instant brutal deaths creating tremendous panic in and around the area.
According to the latest news this morning at 5.30 A. M. three persons have died after a truck allegedly crushed three persons out of total five sleeping on the footpath with two injured grievously.
This deadly incident occured at the Northeast Shastri Park area in early morning hours.
According to the police, the incident occured at 5.30 A.M. The victims were reportedly homeless and used to sleep on the pavement.
The two grievously injured were ferried to Jag Parvesh Chandra hospital where they were declared brought dead while the two injured have been shifted to GTB hospital. The truck driver has not been traced and efforts are on to trace him desperately said a police officer working on the case.
