A theft has been committed in the main office of Bharat TV owned by Anil Sharma, chief editor and publisher of National Tender Soochna as well situated at Babarpur, trans Yamuna in East Delhi district on the night of 1st n 2 nd April, 2023.
According to journalist and proprietor of Bharat TV a local news channel Anil Sharma, he had locked his office as usual on the night of 1 st April, at 8.00 PM and his neighbours phoned him about the broken lock, the other morning.
The thieves have decamped with jewellery and cash including important documents of the publication and channel.
Anil got the FIR lodged with the Welcome Police Station but has reservations that the case has been registered under non serious IPC 380 whereas the IPC 285/ 280 should have been imposed in the case said the proprietor of the TV channel. This clearly gives the impression that the local police wanted to get rid of its responsibilities to nab the thieves and solve the case said Anil Sharma.
The police claims that they are on the job seriously and hope to crack the case in the near future.
