A three day Uttarakhand Maha Utsav was organised at Rohini, Metro Walk , sector 11, Delhi on 30, 31st January and 1 st February attended by hundreds of people from Uttarakhand, Delhi and NCR.
The event was a grand success as there were not only cultural programmes of melodious folk songs and traditional dances in multicolour attractive attires but around 65 stalls of delicious traditional food items, handicrafts, art works, clothings, attires, fascinating artificial jewelry , pulses , fruits of the Uttarakhand hills, herbal medicines, juices etc were also installed with hundreds of people enjoying the delicacies of the Himalayan state.
The chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami was the chief guest on this occasion ocassion.
The you tuber of repute and extremely popular with millions of subscribers from Haldwani Saurabh Joshi, Lucky Bisht , Sandeep Sharma, leading advocates of Delhi High Court, the Miss Universe, India brilliant and beautiful Sneha Bisht, originally from Uttarakhand and several others were the attraction on this ocassion.
The chief minister as usual lauded the initiatives of his government and said that under his tenure the state has progressed by leaps and bounds making several records leading to a self reliant Uttarakhand with its budget reaching more than One lakh crore which was merely Rs 4000 crores in 2004bit didn’t mentioned about the fiscal deficit of the state that has reached whopping 75000 crores.
The three day event was made more interesting, enchanting and mesmerising by the melodious songs of Garhwali and Kumaoni artists especially Rohit Chouhan and Kalpana Chouhan etc who made everyone dance to the magnificent tunes to their melodious songs.
The management of the event deserved to be complemented fully for holding such a massive colourful event in a disciplined manner with everything going smoothly and under discipline.
The chief minister Uttarakhand was surrounded by more than fifty security personnel who didn’t allowed people to come near him keeping everyone at bay , not even journalist except at the end of the speech of the CM.
The musicians of the event also deserved compliments for keeping people glued to their seats.
The guests on the occasion including all the artists were presented the trophies and the organisers wished tham all the very best.
On 31 st the Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta, the Deputy Speaker Delhi Assembly Mohan Singh Bisht and union state minister for Road Transport and highways Ajay Tamta is expected to grace the Uttarakhand Mahotsav by their pivotal presence.
The producer of the Bala Goria Uttarakhand movie likely to be released shortly in Uttarakhand and Delhi took the advantage of the occasion and got the posters released at the VIP lounge by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, You Tuber Saurabh Joshi , Sneha, Runners Up Miss Universe and Lucky Bisht. With the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami his media advisor in Delhi Madan Mohan Sati also accompanied him to the event. The main force behind this massive event were Anil Panu and Manoj Bhandari and their dedicated team.
