Those who’d clandestinely helped wrestling Olympian Sushil Kumar, now in nine days judicial custody in Tihar’s Mandoli Jail, while he was absconding after committing the crime of thrashing the fellow wrestler Sagar Dhankar on 5 th May at Chatrasaal Stadium, who succumbed to grievous injuries, are in real soup as the crime branch officials may call them for questioning.
There are news reports that a woman whose scooty was used by Sushil Kumar on 23 rd May while he was caught by the special cell sleuths led by Crime branch senior police officer Mr. Thakur at Mundka would be grilled to find her connection with the main culprit of May 5 brawl, leading to a young wrestler’s death and injuries to two of his friends.
The special cell would investigate as to why had she given her scooty to the Olympian who was allegedly involved in the murder of the fellow wrestler Sagar Dhankar while absconding for 18 days, which is against the law and amounts to helping a criminal.
Meanwhile according to reliable sources, the wrestling Olympian is allegedly accusing the police for having spoiled his life and he is repenting badly inside the prison for having committed an unintentional crime.
Moreover the meals being served in Tihar Jail is also not sufficing his hunger as his diet is much more than the average prisoner said the news report.
It may be recalled that the FIR registered against Sushil Kumar are under sections ( 302) murder, ( 365) abduction, (120) B criminal conspiracy under IPC at Model Town Police station.
Earlier Sushil Kumar Olympian has blamed the police for registering the FIR against him with prejudiced and biased mindset but the police authorities claim that they have credible evidences to unambiguously prove of his catagorical involvement in the alleged murder of Sagar Dhankar with videos showing him hitting the deceased wrestler with a hockey stick alongwith his accomplices.
According to the latest reports the police may question the woman in whose name the scooty was registered on which the Olympian Sushil Kumar was arrested at Mundka on 23 rd May.
The Olympian wrestler has been kept in number15 of Mandoli Jail in a separate cell for security reasons and is being served meals as per the Jail manual, not being allowed to meet anyone. He is doing Yoga and other exercises trying to keep him fit, mentally n physically.
