The death of a Dalit sanitation worker in Dilshad Garden is not an accident, but a murder due to administrative negligence.

There is tremendous resentment and disappointment among the leaders and activists of AAP including Kuldeep Kumar MLA from Trilokpuri- Kalyanpuri after a young man died due to asphyxiation inside a gutter/ drain / manhole full of gases and dirty, bad smelling silt called mannual scavanging who was made to go inside which is factually prohibited under the laws.
This tragedy occured in a manhole in Dilshad Garden.
According to the directions oF the Supreme Court, Mannual Scavenging is completely ban but the PWD department’s JE of the concerned department ordered the man of Dalit community go into the gutter/ dirty drain/ manhole without any safety kit who has to unfortunately give up his precious life.
Badly angered and infuriated MLA Mr. Kuldeep Kumar said that the multiple engine BJP government makes big rhetoric announcements but never arranges the safety kit for mannual scavangers. He added that the death of a Dalit sanitation worker in Dilshad Garden is not an accident, but a murder due to administrative negligence.
He demanded adequate monetary compensation for the bereaved family of the deceased young man and a government job to the next of the kin.
The MLA Kuldeep Kumar blamed the Delhi government led by BJP CM Rekha Gupta for utter negligence and failure and accused it further the death of the scavenger youth.
He warned that till full justice will not be accorded to he bereaved family the AAP MLA and its activists will be quite but shall resort to direct action.
