THE BJP NATIONAL CHIEF JP NADDA LAUDS THE CM ON UCC AND LAND JIHAD ISSUES BUT DIRECTED HIM TO EXPEDITE RELIEF MEASURES AND REPAIR AND CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS IN UTTARAKHAND
The national BJP chief JP Nadda today visited Haridwar and held the Uttarakhand BJP’s core committee meeting with all the BJP members of parliament, state BJP chief of Uttarakhand, senior leaders, ministers and the party office bearers including observers of the centre. This high level core committee meeting was held in view of the fast approaching national election as the saffron party doesn’t want to lose the single Lok Sabha seat out of total five which are presently in its bag. Those who attended this meeting were Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, union minister of state for defence and Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt, Almora MP Ajay Tamta, Uttarakhand observer and MP, party general secretary Dushyant Gautam, Rekha Verma, co observer, former Uttarakhand CM Vijay Bahuguna, former union minister and Haridwar MP and former CM Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Mahendra Bhatt, state BJP chief, state minister for tourism and PWD Satpal Maharaj, minister Dhan Singh Rawat , Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal , former state chief Madan Kaushik and others.
However the Pauri Garhwal MP and Maharani Rajya Lakshmi MP from Tehri Garhwal weren’t seen in the picture.
Addressing the media after the core committee meeting, the cabinet minister Satpal Maharaj said that while the national BJP chief J. P. Nadda lauded the chief minister on Uniform Civil Code and land Jihad issues for taking a strong posture and speedily working on UCC, he also directed him to expedite the relief works in the disaster hit areas of Uttarakhand including repairing and restoring roads at a faster pace to ensure connectivity and relief to the commuters.
The minister said that though the government is working hard in the direction of developmental activities but on the relief and rehabilitation issues the chief of BJP NADDA was very specific directing the chief minister to expedite the relief and rehabilitation measures including repair and making of roads on war footing especially those damaged during the monsoon.
The national BJP chief was very serious on developmental front asking all the MPs, leaders, MLAs and chief minister to go to people and areas and fulfil all the unfinished developmental works to earn the confidence of the electorates.
Satpal Maharaj said that his directives will be strictly adhered to, as the national BJP chief was very serious on this front.
On the other hand the state BJP chief Mahendra Bhatt has said that the core committee meeting discussed at length the issue of the forthcoming general elections with the national chief issuing strict directives to strengthen and revamp the organisation from the grass roots to the state level.
He said that the national BJP chief has asked the party leaders and MPs to make a credible report and send it to them at the earliest highlighting the bottlenecks they are confronting with in their functioning process so that a remedy is found forth with.
He also said that on the UCC and land Jihad issues, the BJP chief Mr. Nadda lauded the CM Pushkar Singh Dhami to the hilt.
Terming the BJP core meeting as highly important and appreciable having acknowledged various significant tips for the incoming general elections several leaders say that their energy level and enthusiasm has been doubled which will help the double engine government and the party organisation move forward with new vigour and vitality to win all the lok sabha seats in continuance this time as well.
Meanwhile after the meeting the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami wrote on X earlier Twitter in hindi: The pradesh core committee meeting of state BJP presided over by the national BJP chief JP NADDA was held in Haridwar today in which I also participated. In the meeting the BJP’snational general secretary and stare in charge Dushyant Gautam, co prabhari Rekha Verma, state BJP chief Mahendra Bhatt and organising secretary Ajay including respectable core committee members were present.
